This is a hidden gem! The lunch that we ordered arrived fresh, hot and with friendly service.
It is past the summer season and there are not many dining options in town, we appreciated the hearty welcome.
The view from the restaurant was gorgeous- we saw 4 deer on the golf course.

Such a nice hidden gem in Westport. We don’t golf but they have a beautiful golf course. The restaurant has a warm inviting Adirondack decor. The food is delicious! Today we had wings for an appetizer and they were cooked perfectly. We had a burger and a fish sandwich and both were delicious and the best French fries! The owner is very nice. Go check it out! Would love to try their dinner sometime.

I’m not one to complain, but the biggest issue for me was the cleanliness of the dining room. Cobwebs and dead flies on window sills (very obvious and must be they just ignore it). Staff very sloppily dressed. Tablecloth was dirty when we sat down. Had to brush the crumbs off ourselves. Crackers were left in one of the seats. Food was so-so. Lacks ambiance in a big way. Was told they couldn’t accommodate 6 on the tavern side (which looked much better). I won’t be going back, which is too bad. As a local I like giving local business our patronage.

This is a great place with great employees, and a wonderful setting. The manager, Robin, however needs to use her manners when she speaks to people, if she has any.

After going here for five years, having plenty of conversations with Robin, she was incredibly rude to my family the other night on the patio, and scolded us like children. We did have two kids with us, which clearly isn’t her cup of tea. But she spoke to us, the parents, like we were three years old. The rest of the staff was super friendly and welcoming, as always. But Robin came out and single-handly ruined our evening because our kids were on the putting green in front of the dining patio rolling balls into the holes. They were causing no harm to anything or anyone. And even if they were breaking some sort of rule, Robin needs to at least attempt to be polite about it. She threw the door open, scolded us twice, slammed it shut behind her, and in a quick instant ruined our entire meal.

In five years I’ve never seen her smile. Which is fine. But I’ve seen her be rude and standoffish to people countless times. Patrons and staff alike. I’ve finally had enough, after being spoken to like that. That’s no way to operate. Life’s too short.

We’ll be back when it’s under new management. Shouldn’t be long.

I couldn’t have had a worse experience this past Sunday (5/25/25). I went in and sat down at the bar without any greeting. There was a woman behind the bar making a drink and when she finished that I asked for a Manhattan. She responded with OK but I need to check on food first and I didn’t see here again for twenty minutes or so. In the meantime a young girl poured a draft beer for someone so I asked her for a Manhattan but she wasn’t a bartender and couldn’t make one so I asked for a beer instead. I then put in an order for the Seafood Special to go and asked the young girl to make a Manhattan with me giving directions and I promised not to complain which she did. Ten minutes later I’m told that my meal can’t be made to go so I said I’ll just stay and eat it there. Ten minutes later she came back and said there are too many dinners ahead of mine and no more pasta dishes will be made. At that point I changed to a hamburger to go. That came out a few minutes later and put on the bar for me but I didn’t get my bill. Ten or fifteen minutes go by and I still hadn’t been given my bill so I asked for it. Ten plus minutes later I just left cash on the bar and left. Needless to say my hamburger was stone cold by the time I got to where I was staying and it was inedible. A complete waste of time and money. I see lots of great reviews so maybe it was just a bad night – I would like a credit or refund if they feel that’s the case and they didn’t provide their usual level of service.

We arrived in town on a Sunday night and were told that the only restaurant opened was this one. We walked from the Marina and found out that it was closed even if it is written that it is open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm. No excuse were given. Only weird explanations.
