Stopped by Winking Lizard during March Madness, and as expected, the place was packed. We grabbed seats at the bar, and despite the crowd, the service was outstanding—attentive, quick, and friendly.
I’ve eaten here a few times, and while the food is hit or miss, the atmosphere and service always make up for it. This time, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, which I wouldn’t recommend. The chicken was a bit overcooked, and the bun was just a basic hamburger bun—not great. However, the French fries were fantastic—crispy, golden, and well-seasoned. My date went with a pizza, and it was excellent, definitely a better choice.
Overall, Winking Lizard is a great spot for drinks, sports, and atmosphere, but the food can be inconsistent. If you go, stick with the pizza and fries, and you’ll have a solid meal.

First time in here in about a year. Stopped to grab a happy hour drink and catch some college football. Beer was great but service was a little slow. Didn’t eat on this trip in aside from some delicious popcorn.

I agree with one of the reviewers, it is a bit small inside. I actually ate on the patio, which was nice. Monday is 65 cent for traditional wings. They do have daily good specials! Which is a great deal! I ordered the Cajun wings, they did have a bite to them, but I do like spicy/hot stuff. Also had artichoke dip with chips. The dip was good, the wings were good and the server was very attentive and friendly. I really have nothing bad to say, I ate there many months ago inside, and it is quite small, but the service and food were good.

SHOUTOUT TO JESS!!! If you stop by this place request her she was our waitress and she was amazing knew the food and what to recommend (as this was my first time here) her attentiveness and service was top notch! She definitely made our visit….and well the food was pretty dang good too the wings by far were the best I’ve had. We also had nachos burgers and fries and of course I had to try the baked beans yummm! Definitely recommend this place and will be going back!

Excellent spot for a quick pub-style lunch! Located in the Washignton Square plaza. Amble parking. Smaller sized dining area with heated patio seating available. Many, many drink options, including imported beers. The white chicken pizza is phenomenal. Service with a smile and price is on point. Highly recommend.

We arrived at 7:15pm not a crowded Monday night seated right away, but is took 20 mins to have a server to approach our table. We ordered after our drinks arrived. 25 minutes to receive our order (boneless wings ) and another 15 minutes to receive our starter a small cheese pizza. We witnessed two other tables that arrived and ordered after us as they received there appetizers and mains before our order started to arrived out of sequence. The two other tables were larger orders 6 & 4 people ordering wings and burgers. Worst service not sure the reason it was this way as slow as it was at the time but we were not happy.

This location has shown up for our family when they probably didn’t even know it. Sometimes ya just need some family time out of the house where you can just be without distractions. They’re always loving +accommodating. Years ago our daughter had an incident +fell off a high top chair. We needed to get her to the hospital + no questions asked we were told to go, they took care of the bill, the mess + most importantly didn’t make us feel like a problem. Check ins from the regular staff while you’re dining are done w pure love. Thankful for this cozy corner in our community!

Unfortunately it took us an hour to get our food with very minimal check ins from staff and we never did get an explanation. It then took a really long time to get the check once we were done. We were in the corner and felt forgotten about most of the time. Our waitress was very kind, just not around. I understand that it gets busy, but check ins are wonderful! Our food was good, but not worth the wait!

A very absent minded bartender took my brothers order while I was taking a business call. As soon as I hung up she asked what I wanted to order. I asked her to please give me a mombc I was still on the clock working taking calls. She never came back for my order. My brother sat and ate his food and never was aksed again for my order. Shes the 1st person yhat has served me in over 15 years that I have a 0 tip to. Beyond words and quite frankly I hope she pulls her head out of her wazoo bc wow…I’m still starving after a ridiculously long work day. Will 1000000% never give this place another dollar

Stopped here for a lunch and enjoyed it. Typical sports bar fare with burgers, chicken sandwiches, pizzas fries and beer taking pride of place. Very extensive beer menu with lots of options on draft and in bottle.
Food was ok. I asked for extra spice on my cajun but the mix was mostly salt, cayenne, and black pepper. The burger had scant cheese on it as well.
Waitress, jess, was great though. She got a good tip.
