Founded in 2006, Wings and Rice has become a favorite dining spot in the Craycroft and Pima neighborhood and throughout Tucson. Guests from all walks of life, including business professionals, medical workers, students, tradespeople, and military personnel from nearby Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, gather to enjoy wings, fried rice, and inspired dishes. Owned and operated by Ken and Lona Kang, the restaurant reflects Ken’s culinary background. Originally from South Korea, Ken served in the South Korean Marines before moving to the United States. With over twenty-five years of experience in sushi and teppan restaurants, he wanted to create a menu of flavors. Inspired by a restaurant he visited in Virginia, Ken brought the concept to Tucson.

At first I thought this place was a money laundering scheme just by the name. Saw the reviews online and wanted to test it out.
After enjoying lunch here in a beautiful Monday morning I can safely say these are the best wings in town, the lemon pepper is to die for
The fried rice was also cooked perfectly and topped with a unique sauce

If I could give this place more stars I absolutely would! I’ve driven passed here a couple times and finally pulled the trigger to stop. I’m so happy I did! The hospitality here is phenomenal! I was offered samples of their sauce (in case I didn’t like it) I did. Get the sauce!! Attention to detail was great down to my take out box. I noticed some holes poked at the top to prevent extra condensation. Awesome. I ordered a 8 piece bone in, I got an even amount of flats and drums with both of the flavors I got! Shout out to you guys, thank you! I’m looking forward to coming back! (I got orange and Louisiana by the way, both were great)

This cute little restaurant never disappoints. I make it a point to detour just to eat here when visiting Tucson.
Wings and rice served up fresh and hot. Service is great and they are polite and friendly. What more could you ask? See you all next trip!

Highly recommend, locally owned tucson restaurant. I love far from it but have heard good things so made a stop today. The staff is super friendly and welcoming when you come in. I was offered a drink on the house while I was waiting for my order. The owner/cook came out and chatted with me and gave me a sample of their very good rice and famous sauce. I got the teriyaki chicken and rice half orders. It is very good and the price was good! I will be back to try wings and owner told me he is from buffalo so I know he can make some good wings. 5 out of 5 stars good food and so hard to find friendly good service now days! So thank you guys! Go Bills!!!

This was a good spot for a quick lunch. The portions were generous and the staff were very friendly. We ordered spicy garlic and spicy orange (was not spicy) boneless wings and beef fried rice. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving some wings and rice.

First time here and definitely coming back!!! As soon as we walked in was greated by Chris. Food is unbelievable delicious. Get the sauce on the rice you won’t be mad. 1000% coming back definitely recommend. The spicy orange chicken is AMAZING!!!

I’ll start off by saying this is a pretty popular spot, so my opinion will probably go against the grain.
Neither the wings and rice were all that great imo. The wings were a bit too small for my liking compared to other wings. The seasonings weren’t anything special. Solution would be to get higher quality wings and work on the seasoning blends.
The rice, on the other hand, was hard carried by msg, not much flavor there. I’d add oyster or fish sauce, and definitely some kind of aromatic either garlic, green onion, or shallots.
The lobby was fairly unclean and the soda machine was in a rough state. Also the sodas were bad, so I’m not sure if the nozzles needed to be cleaned or the syrup refilled.
The kitchen looked clean tho.
The service was excellent however.
For me, it’s a one a done, but I can see how others will be into this spot, just not my kind of place. I recommend checking it out.

Food is so good. Wings fried crispy great sauce on the buffalo perfect seasoning on the lemon pepper. Fried rice was a little salty but the red sauce helped cut it. Great service as well. Will come again and bring friends. Small no frills hole in the wall.

The food here is delicious From the chicken katsu to the wings!!! I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. What makes this place even better is the service you receive. My new go-to spot! Food is delicious, portions are HUGE, and the staff is so wonderful and kind. I got the spicy teriyaki platter w/ the veggies and fried rice, and my wife got a 10 piece boneless platter w/ fried rice. Only wish there was more broccoli in the veggies on my platter, but everything is amazing. Check them out!! #supportlocal
