We recently moved back to this area after being absent for twenty years. Went to Wings and Ale to find out it had been purchased with new owners. We’ve been going there now for a few months and it’s been an amazing venue! They’ve got a lot of entertainment regularly on their schedule so there’s always something to do. Monday all you can eat wings! Tuesday is karaoke night, Wednesday is music bingo which always has a great variety of prizes including cash, lottery tickets, appetizers and other things depending on the sponsor. Friday and Saturdays typically have local bands with a great beat! Love all the staff and “family” up there. Timmy and Robin are great! Don’t forget to try the grilled chicken tenders! Highly recommend!

The only reason Wings and Ale received a second start is because of the live entertainment they booked, the On Point Band. Wings and Ale is truly a fascinating social experiment. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to dine in a restaurant where the staff operates on stealth mode, this is your chance.

This was my second visit. The first time, they messed up my order. Annoying, but hey, mistakes happen. I decided to give them another shot.

Last night? I unknowingly signed up for an immersive theatrical experience called “Now You See Me: The Servers Edition.”

We were there for an hour and a half. Not once did a server stop at our table. Not even a “Hey guys, I’ll be right with you.” Just graceful walk-bys. So many walk-bys. At one point I considered waving a napkin like I was being rescued at sea.

Meanwhile, the servers were absolutely thriving, dancing on the dance floor, hanging out at the round table by the claw machine, scrolling on their phones, vaping… truly living their best lives. Just not… serving.

The bartenders? Also mythical creatures. The only way someone at my table got a drink was by physically squeezing into the bar like they were trying to get front row at a concert and catching the bartender during a rare, fleeting moment behind the bar.

I hadn’t eaten all day because I was planning to get food there. Rookie mistake. By the end of the night, I wasn’t just hungry, I was questioning my life choices. I stayed because the On Point Band was AMAZING. Honestly, that band is the MVP of the entire establishment. They deserve better. They deserve their own venue. They deserve awards.

Eventually, hunger forced me to leave before I started eyeing the claw machine as a potential food source.

If you want fantastic live music and the thrill of possibly never being served, this is your spot. Just eat beforehand. And maybe bring a snack. And a flare gun.

Me and my dad had called Wednesday February 4th 2026 to pre order wings for Super Bowl Sunday. I asked to order 50 wings and asked does it come with wing chips. I was told yes. It comes with wing chips and celery for 59.99. I went ahead and placed the order. My dad went to go pick up the wings on Sunday to only be told that the wing chips doesn’t come with the order and that their would be a take out fee of 15% and we were never told about that when I called. Also was never told about a fee for using a credit card. The wings were dry and the wing chips had no seasoning to them. We won’t order again. I wish when I called they would have told me everything.

Nice spot in Lexington to watch sports, enjoy a meal and play pool. Service was excellent and the food was on point. There are 4 pool tables available and their is a modern jukebox to play music. I like it here and will be back.

After 20+ years of patronizing this local bar, I’m done. The decor improvements were needed. The food is pretty consistent. Except for one particular bartender, the service is lacking. We ate at the bar Wednesday. I had to wave the bartender down whenever we needed anything. It wasn’t busy. Maybe the cashew dispenser was in the way? Oh yeh, the Yuengling was flat again. I had to buy an overpriced bottle to get a fresh beer. I skipped eating and went to O’Hara’s for fresh beer and a meal. This used to be a fun place.

I haven’t been here for years and will never go back again. For starters, we ordered 2 fried appetizers, the oil tasted old and the appetizer quality was poor (IMO). This appears to be a full on pool hall/bar now in need for some extreme upgrades. Food was subpar (IMO) and was charged a group TIP for 4 adults and 3 kids. ( 6 year old, 1 year old and an infant which received no service.) The music was extremely loud coming from the pool hall. No place for a family (IMO).

Met up there with friends and family who;e we were visiting from out of state. It was busy and the band playing was good rocking the oldies.. 80’s 90’s mostly. We had a good time and food was very good.

Went to watch a Gamecocks football game and at Half time a band started playing. The entire bar emptied out save for a few Pelionaires dancin! Timing of the band was a poor choice because they were good but not during the game. Food was good, it was fast and fresh. Will make sure next time that there’s no band during football games. And yes they will card you so bring your ID. Why is this even a discussion. Youre going to a bar bring your ID.

This is an outstanding venue for live music. They try to bring in bands from outside the area to offer a variety. They have a spacious bar area plus a room dedicated to just the band. Video games, billiards and large TV’s everywhere. A little something for everyone…oh and the food is great to. Don’t let the facade fool you as it did us for many years. Go in and you will not be disappointed.
