Checking out cool places
SUNDAY FUNDAY HAS FOUND ITS HOME!
Listen up, people! If you’re not spending your Sundays at Wingin’ It in Angier, you are genuinely missing out. This place is an absolute VIBE!
We came for the sports and stayed for the insane energy. The atmosphere is electric, with massive screens everywhere so you never miss a single play. It’s the perfect spot to cheer on your team with a crowd that’s just as pumped as you are.
And let’s talk about the legendary $2 PBR special! You simply cannot beat it. It’s the kind of deal that makes you high-five a stranger.
Now, for the main event: THE WINGS. I live for spice, so I had to tackle the Kickin’ Chicken. HOLY SMOKES! This isn’t a test of your taste buds, it’s a trial by fire! The flavor is incredible—a perfect, tangy heat that builds and builds until you’re feeling the glory. But the TOP is where the legends are made. The Top sauce is INSANELY good! It’s that perfect, craveable heat that has so much flavor you’ll want to drink it. A definite MUST-TRY!
Bottom line: Amazing sports bar energy, unbeatable prices, and wings that will challenge you and delight you in the best way possible. Wingin’ It is an Angier gem. See you next Sunday

Our first time eating in this establishment. We both ordered their fish fry meal. It was quite good in fact. We use to stop when we were in Angier when it was a BBQ restaurant that was well knowm for their smoked brisket. I guess we will continue with the same tradition and stop here whenever we are in town! The friendly staff made it a pleasant experience.

My Husband and I have ordered Wings for the Superbowl from the Fuquay Spot for years. We recently moved to middle of nowhere Lillington. So happy the Angier location is here! We called in a pick-up order early yesterday. Wings were cooked right on time. They were so delicious! We tried the BangBang sauce for the 1st time and OMG I’ve been missing out! So good. Wish we had leftovers today!

We love the food here, but service is lacking. Also ordered traditional wings and a side salad. For whatever reason they are stingy with their dressing. Side salad would have been amazing but the dressing was not enough! Also the dressing they give you for the wings is not enough. They charge if you ask for extra. We would have easily finished the wings at the restaurant, but ended up taking some home just so we could have enough dressing to go with them.

The wings here are spot on. The atmosphere is perfect for watching all types of sporting events. Service has been top notch every time I’ve been here. I drink mostly beer but my wife loves the drinks. Blessed to have this spot so close to home.

It’s nice when you are at a hot wings place and your drink runs dry and your server is not busy, but texting at the waitress computer. Like not just one waitress is sitting there texting with a house full of people. Management needs to focus. Waitress disappeared.

Just happened to be driving by and thought “why not try this place?” Pretty sure this used to be the old Hwy 55 location but you can’t tell if you didn’t know. Driveway entrances on both sides is nice. As you pull up you see the lighted patio area. Too cold for that today though. We walked in and were greeted immediately. The gentleman asked if we wanted to sit in the dining room or the high top table/bar area. It wasn’t not busy so we chose the bar area. The high top tables are nice and the chair are comfortable. There were multiple TVs with the football game on so you were able to watch no matter where you sat at the table. Our waitress came out immediately, greeted us and asked our drink order and if we knew what we wanted or needed time. Our first time so we order drinks and looked over the menu. I waant sure what the Bang Bang sauce would taste like so she was kind enough to bring a sample and some chips. Needless to say I was sold and order the bang bang and Hot Honey boneless wings. The size of the chicken is great and they were so good. My wife got a chef’s salad with steak and the portion was huge. The steak was cooked great and seasoned just enough for a salad. Our server checked on us frequently and was so friendly and welcoming. The menu is full of so many options so we will 100% be returning. Great food, great atmosphere and great service!

We were excited when this opened up so close to home, but unfortunately have been disappointed time and time again. We would rather drive out to the Fuquay location than go to the Angier one. We love the fried jalapenos but can only get those at the fuquay location.
Our visits at the Angier location, service is often slow and inattentive even when empty. We ordered the pretzel bites one time but were disappointed with how watered down the cheese was. It was gross. My awesome sauce wings come oily with no sauce on them when they arrive fresh so I always have to up charge to get extra sauce. My husband’s sauce has arrived seemingly watered down. Our waitress lied to us multiple times during one of our visits blaming the kitchen that they completely messed up our order when in fact she rang multiple items in wrong. Just be honest. Didn’t offer to correct it or adjust the price correctly. Tonight we ordered take out and one order of chicken wings were traditional when they were supposed to be boneless. Some additional sauce was missing. We call to have it corrected and drive back out to get the corrected order only to get home with a random sauce of their choosing apparently on the boneless wings. Not what we ordered. Didn’t even bother going back a third time to get our take out corrected. It was gross. During one of our visits there was a random horror movie on with disgusting images while we’re trying to eat our food and we had a child present. It didn’t make sense why that was even on.
We really wanted to like this location, but end up disappointed each time.

It’s Sunday night and the wife and I just finished dinner at Wingin-it of Angier. While the food is always great – tonight our server was simply awesome. In a day when service is sometimes shaky – wingin-it has the most amazing staff. Thank you folks

Went in and made a to go order and waited for food. After a few minutes of standing at the door a waiter finally acknowledged me and took my order. I got 12 traditional wings 1/2 awesome 1/2 wet lemon pepper and an order of kids mini burgers . The fries for the kids meal were literally sitting on the service window counter the entire time I was waiting so they were ice cold and soggy when I got home 6 mins later. The wings I asked for crispy fried, a few were but unfortunately most of the wings were drenched in what seems to be butter or oil. Like half the wings were sitting in a container of oil and the other were sitting in a mix of the two watery sauces. This made the wings soggy and somehow there was ZERO flavor or either sauce on anything. I can understand a heavily sauced wing but this felt like revenge for something I hadn’t done. Just a pile of wet wings in oil butter or water. The wings were flavorless and ended up in the trash which sucks because they cost $18 for 12. I’m not sure why they felt the need to pour a quart of oil over my food but that’s what I got. Highly doubt I return to even eat in house after this experience. I will post pictures if I can find a way to do so because there’s no option on this page as I’m writing this review.
