This restaurant took me by surprise. It has a nice, bright, festive decor. Our server was friendly and pleasant. The chips & salsa were delicious and served warm.
I was impressed with the variety of choices on the menu, I actually found it difficult to decide as I found so many offerings to be appealing. Our food was served within minutes after ordering. The portions were large, the food was hot, delicious, and fresh.
I will be returning here frequently. I recommend Palenque if you are looking for a new, fresh Mexican restaurant.

I have a friend who lives close, so we decided to have lunch here. The decor is colorful & lively. The wait staff very nice & polite. The food was very good-nice portion. One of the best Margaritas around. We’ll definitely be back.

This is our favorite restaurant in the Fox Valley. The food is excellent, fresh ingredients and served hot. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are fine and portions large. Dining room is quiet, no waiting for a table. What’s not to love?

Food is OK, personally I think Taco Bell is better. Original Marg was good. Service was OK. They need to stop catering to the older, no spice, no salt, no flavor crowd.

Quantum Leap
The food is fabulous, we received the Palenque Fajitas and it was the closest to authentic Mexican cuisine we have had since we visited Tulum. The interior is very cozy but we just took it to go. Can’t wait to have the margaritas! Service is kind too.

The parking lot looked rather full when we arrived, but we were seated right away and had very good service throughout our evening. The food came quickly and had an attractive presentation. My review would be 5 stars if only there was some flavor in the food. I am not sure there was a Jalepeno or Habanero anywhere to be found. Perhaps those who like it spicy need to request that preparation. I suspect they are catering to the typical Wisconsinite who can’t tolerate any heat.
