Absolutely a Denton SLEEPER! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ordered the boneless wing and fries basket with the Cajun dry rub (added to fries as well) What a great price point for this quality – My chicken was absolutely fresh and fries cooked to perfection!

I’m so glad I go with my instincts and not other product reviews based on petty things. The customer service was incredible as well as the lunch-time atmosphere

Had a horrible recent experience, and we will not return. I ordered a #4 (5 wing combo) and was later told I wasn’t charged for the fries. I’m not sure how that happens when ordering a combo (I paid $9.31 and the combo was $9.99), but I didn’t want to make a fuss since I knew it wasn’t the $10.81 with tax (I thought she gave me a student discount or something) and was open to paying whatever difference. I DID chuckle though, thinking, ‘they really want this $1.00 and some change,’but I charged it to economy– and hard times. However, I was told the fries would be an additional $2.59, which is full price. Huh?

I attempted to gain understanding, which I’m sure the pressure for the additional money was coming from the man cooking vs. the lady as the messenger, but didn’t understand and wasn’t paying full price. Fast forward to receiving food, I was told they allowed a 1/2 order of fries since I didn’t purchase them. I was done.

Chyle… food was terrible. Honey mustard wings were overcooked, tasteless and drowned in sauce. My “free” 1/2 order of fries were cooked too hard for the size as well. No one in our party was impressed and we felt the food was extremely bland (mind you we ordered a bit of everything). Upon leaving we went straight to Jersey Mike’s.

This used to be a place we’d frequent if in the area, but it’s gone further downhill. It’s sad because we love family owned restaurants–but we will not return.

Best wings place along 288! Wings are delicious and sizable (make sure to ask for the larger wings for a little bit more). I’ve only ever did take out but from experience calling 10 minutes ahead to place a pickup order is the way to go!

It’s better than BWW. However, reheating precooked wings and slathering them in sauce doesn’t make them taste fresh. How do I know they were precooked? They came out way too fast and the inside was cold. They looked good, but they were tough. Nothing special about the fries.

Wings were really good. Looking forward to trying the seafood next time. What really set the place apart from others was the friendliness of Art. He was so friendly and was actual interested in my day. Nice to be seen as not just a number. Will go back for the food and to talk to Art some more.

I wasn’t impressed with this visit, but interested in trying other menu items one day. We ordered a 20 piece with 10 Pit Style and 10 Garlic Parmesan to-go.

The wings were a great size. They look dry, but were good on the inside. I wonder if having them to-go was the cause. I would like more sauce/seasoning next time. The Pit Style kind of tasted like Frank’s Hot Sauce with Tabasco. The Garlic Parmesan flavor was good, but wings were not well coated with flavor.

The location has two tvs to watch and variety of seating arrangements. I was intrigued by the foosball and toy game. The foosball has quite a few broken pieces and must pay $1 to play. The toy game I don’t believe was plugged in.

Wife and I decided to check this place out after a day of shopping. When we walked in there was only one table in the shop. We were greeted immediately by the nice dude running the counter. We took a minute to glance over the wall mounted menu board and we needed up getting the spicy honey bbq wings and the Thai Chili with ranch fries and Cajun fries. Both wings were absolutely amazing, the Thai were a little sweet for me but my wife actually really enjoyed them. The spicy honey bbq was my favorite! The ranch is good, a little on the strong side but delicious. The ranch fries were absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly and we’ll seasoned, compliments the wings well. Cajun fries were ok, they didn’t seem to add much flavor but again they were cooked to perfection! Both the guy cooking (maybe the owner?) And the man running the front were very pleasant to deal with! Will definitely be back!

This is such a great wing spot! Their house made sauces are so good and the wings are big and meaty. We thought it was a really great value and the speed of service was awesome.

Sub-par wings with sub-par service

TL;DR the breading on the shrimp was mush, the lemon pepper lacked flavor/coverage at times, the sweet potato fries had all the salt on 1/3 of the fries.

I’ve been thinking of wings all week. Where to go. What flavors to get. I finally decided on Wing Pit.

I enter on a Saturday night to an empty restaurant. It’s 7:42 and my order had an ETA of 7:30-7:40 PM.

An employee (I soon find out) follows me in and asks for my order. As he gets my name, he yells something to the cook in the back. He tells me that it’ll be another 7 minutes. The kitchen is open, so I can see them put down some food in the frier.

Those were my shrimp.

He apologized again as he handed me my food. At least he gave me a complimentary side of Cajun sauce.

The flavor, otherwise, was decent. However, I will not be returning again.
