It would be impossible to overstate just how good the food is here! The short ribs are just life changing. Special shoutout to the French toast and the donut burger, never had anything else like it. We also showed up super early for our reservation and they accommodated us happily. Excellent food and service.

Instantly obsessed. Went for brunch and had a hard time deciding because I wanted to try literally every single thing. Their chicken and waffles with hot honey maple syrup was fantastic. Their grits are fire. Good patio, great service. My new neighborhood favorite!!

My friend and I went for brunch we were asked if we had a reservation ( we did not) but was able to be seated right away. We were informed that on Sunday it gets busy so its better to do so. When we got there it wasn’t busy but it did get pretty crowded during our meal so i understand. Our server Mac was very attentive. They have a good selection of meal options and the portions were a nice size. We tried the mimosa flight they were delicious and so was our meal. Our Overall experience was great and finding out it was Black Owned was an extra bonus. We will definitely be back.

I was in St. Louis for a conference and wanted to find good food while supporting a Black-owned business—Wine Down Cafe checked both boxes perfectly. I stopped by on a pretty chill night with only a few other diners in the restaurant. There’s plenty of seating for dining, plus a full bar if you’re just in the mood for drinks.
The server was great – she was very personable and made sure I had everything I needed. I loved the local welcoming vibe and the service was great. I loved that the owner was in the back cooking and everyone made it a point to ensure I was happy with my meal.
The menu has a ton of delicious options, which made it hard to choose. I went with the mac and cheese lollipops and the burger with fries. The lollipops were delicious – fried to perfection and bursting with flavor. As for the burger? It was a pleasant surprise! I love testing burgers at different restaurants to see if they measure up to my favorites, and this one was definitely a contender. It was really good and I would definitely come back to have another along with the mac and cheese lollipops.
I capped off my meal with their rum punch, which got a big smile from my server when I ordered it. I asked her why, and she said, “Everyone loves the rum punch”—and she wasn’t wrong. It was strong, flavorful, and hit the spot. She also mentioned their weekend brunch, which now has me wanting to plan another visit to St. Louis just to try it.
Overall, the food was wonderful, and the service was great. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re ever in St. Louis. I know I’ll be back to explore more of their menu. 🙂

Y’all! You have to go check out Wine Down! What a hidden gem! A few of us girls try once a month to pick a new place for brunch that we’ve never been to before. Last weekend I chose Wine Down and I’m so glad I did. The second we walked in the door we felt welcomed and like we were family. The menu was enticing to say the least and it was hard to choose just one thing. We ended up ordering 3 entrees and sharing them. We definitely didn’t go wrong with the shrimp and grits, salmon croquettes and the BLT. We also ordered Mimosa Flights and OMG they were delicious! This cozy little cafe is nothing short of amazing! They do recommend reservations. We made a reservation and got right in. We will definitely be back soon to check out the dinner menu. Thanks Wine Down! See you again soon!

Came here based on the good Reviews and it did not disappoint. Greeted with smiles. Had the lollipop mac-n-cheese apps, smashed burger with fries and club grilled chicken sandwich with garlic broccoli … everything was delicious. I am pretty critical when it come to food and it was all good stuff. The patio was nice to be outside. The waitress mentioned music on Fridays, brunch on Sundays and burger special on Wednesdays… we plan to come back.

Been riding by seeing this place and couldn’t wait to try. Came with my mom and the food was absolutely amazing!!!! The wings were so good and juicy. The Buffalo chicken dip was some of the best I tasted and the chips were warm and toasty. The Philly cheese steak egg rolls were the best !!! My mom got the rum punch and she loved it. I got a Margarita and it was good and strong too. Customer service was excellent. Place was clean and nice. Prices were definitely reasonable especially for the quality of food you get. Happy Hour from 3-7 has good deals too. Would definitely recommend this place you have to try! Can’t wait to go back ❤️
