Arguably the best wine shop in the Annapolis region. The staff is very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The store itself offers an expansive variety of wine from multiple regions from both big name and small vineyards at very reasonable prices. It’s great to have a wine store that avoids the typical mass produced wines in favor of real quality.

Great first experience. Lucky find for newbies to area. People fantastic. Selection and prices admirable. Enjoyed several “never hads” with friends this week and some real stars. Will be back. And back again. And will try dining option, too.

Nice looking place, but didn’t have any wines from the region I was looking for. The customer service was good, not so much from the adjoining gourmet shop. Retail 101, greet customers when they come in. Also, okay for a small gourmet, but nothing you can’t get at Whole Foods for cheaper.

Dine in option and wine-tasting on Saturdays. A gem of a spot with a staff that knows their wine and can offer great recommendations. Great prices that beat even Total Wine prices in some instances.

Did a quick but epic wine tasting, then went next door for the best mussels I’ve ever had.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Each one of them has helped me to select the perfect wine based on my stated preference on a given day. In addition, they are all super nice! I go out of my way to go to this store.

Think of a being in a friend’s huge wine cellar. They are offering you tastes of almost anything you want, with wonderful stories about the taste and the wine maker’s history. A group of friends (everyone is a friend) meet there Saturdays for some time to talk about wines.

Vintners and distributors come by on Saturday to share their wines as well.

A great restaurant is there if you are hungry and a cheese shop on the other that sells warm baguettes.

It does get much better.

Every Saturday I buy a warm baguette first and then roam the wine tasting. When we have tasted everything, my wife and I go to Grapes for an early dinner/late last lunch.

We then have the evening free for projects with full bellies and a highly stimulated creative spirit.

It’s that good!
