Lucy’s Café is a very small, quaint spot tucked away from the crowded streets of Key West, just far enough to feel calm and unhurried. The lobster roll was excellent, fresh, simple, and done right. The coffee was strong and memorable, better than expected. A great place to step off the busy path and enjoy a solid meal without the noise.

Didn’t expect much from an iced tea but it was soooo good! They make it in house and I asked for less sweet. It was so fresh. Great alternative for this who don’t drink coffee. The mint gave it a taste of Moroccan tea

Visit the Kino Plaza for a pick me up at Lucy’s. Ask for a cortadito cuban coffee with sugar and a splash of foamy milk. Go buy a pair of Kino Key West made flip flops.

**Lucy’s Cafe in Key West: A True Hidden Gem**
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
Hidden on Fitzpatrick Street, Lucy’s Cafe is a Key West treasure. The steak quesadilla bursts with tender steak and melted cheese, paired with zesty salsa. The Oscarito sandwich is hearty, with fresh bread and crisp veggies. The lobster roll, among the best in town, features tender lobster in a buttery roll with addictive plantain chips. Cozy and welcoming, Lucy’s offers quick, friendly service and big flavors. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike!

Lucy’s Cafe is hidden in a courtyard near Mallory Square, but it’s worth the exploration to eat here. Our breakfast was delicious. We started with some iced coffee with milk, perfectly made. Then I had eggs with bacon, Cuban bread, and refried beans with cheese. My wife had a breakfast burrito with perfect portions of egg, bacon, and cheese. Lucy brought me some homemade red sauce to try and said “it’s very spicy”… but for me it was a perfect amount of heat with a whole heck of a lot of flavor. Every bite of food I took had some of that sauce on it! My wife loved her burrito. She doesn’t like it when places overload the burrito with mostly eggs. Instead, it was equal portions of bacon and egg with just the right amount of cheese. The prices were great and the service was top notch. There is a little space inside to sit if you want to get out of the heat. Please give Lucy’s a try, you will be very glad you did.

We stumbled upon Lucy’s and were hesitant at first dude to the emptiness of the surrounding stores BUT DONT LET THAT STOP YOU! The food is DELICIOUS. I will recommend this place over the resort meals/ upscale restaurants ANYDAY. I ordered the steak tacos and my mom got the shrimp basket, both of us loved our food.
