The sandwich was okay, NOT worth 12.95. And service was REALLY SLOW. We waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged after we sat down. Then two tables who sat down after us got their food first. There were only two people working at lunch, I’m assuming it was the owners. Entire lunch for two took one hour and it was after 2:00 when we got here.

My family of five had a good
time eating here. The owners take your order and serve you. Our food came out fast and was well prepared. The panini was good and made
of fresh ingredients. The lady personalized our orders and made suggestions that were good choices. My kids had the spaghetti and she made the plates specially for them, as they were verbalizing their picky eater standards. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. We ate outside on the patio and it was not crowded. We had ice cream to go, the huckleberry flavor was better than the one served at Apgar Village.

Rudest staff. Walked in with my family and sat down to look at the menu and my family decided to try another restaurant. We happen to be in the area and wanted the food to be really good and just happened to not like the menu options. My husbands seat was directly in the sun and building looked barren. Got up to leave after using bathroom and both the owners yelled at me saying never to come back. Wife stated we just wanted to use the restroom which wasn’t the case.. we did initially have an intention to eat there. Very happy that we left after now knowing what kind of people they are. It was extremely embarrassing and unprofessional. I did tell him his behavior was unacceptable and that I would be leaving this review. He said “ I don’t care, I own this place”. Coming from a family who has owned restaurants and understands that importance of hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Only had a salad and sandwich, however….arrived after 8 pm. They may have been closed otherwise as they only had one table left that was seated. Linda, owner, realized we wanted something small and quick and kindly offered to make our dinner to go. That extra step on her part ranks high in my book. Give them a visit. I’m going there now to buy a bottle of wine!

The whole experience was nightmare. Our order was taken but less than 2 minutes later another server was trying to take it again. The original server, Hans, forgot our order and we had to re-order. No big deal. A server returned to ask if we were carded after already receiving our drinks and being carded already once before. Food took over an hour to come out. Everyone else got their food and we watched 3-4 tables get up and leave par the lack of service. The BigForker sanwchich was good however it was way overpriced. For a sandwhich I could make at home I was charged $14. We ordered an appetizer and was later told they didn’t have it after an hour of waiting. Cool interior but very, very, very unorganized. Nice staff just poor service.

Horrible service. The German guy was rude. Our extended family of 15 met there for lunch on Thursday 6/27/19. My wife and kids arrived before everyone and ordered. When the rest of our family arrived the German guy working there said to one of them “You cant just take up the entire place” They responded by informing him they were there to spend money but promptly reconsidered and left. THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY and we were the only ones there! They were totally rude. Not only that the food was lame and they forgot my son’s order. I ordered the ruben. Menu said it was “piled high” with pastrami. It wasn’t. There are plenty of other places to go. My recommendation is to skip this place.

I have never been to a cafe with such horrible service. Our party of 10 was refused service when there were only two tables with customers. Later I returned to purchase a drink and have my children use the sink in the bathroom, Linda refused to allow the kids to wash their hands and proceeded to argue with me about needing to be a paying customer. I was in a line 10 people deep. I wouldn’t recommend this cafe to anyone. These people really need to get out of the business.

Rude people, not worth it.
We came in from camping, UNFORTUNATELY it was one of the 2 places open on a Tuesday. We came in when we parked but the 3 people I could see on staff were busy (but there were only 2 other tables eating) so we waited at the “we will seat you” sign for about 5 min but 2 of the employees just talked to a man they were checking out for that time, showing no interest in seating us. So we left to find another place, but its THEN we would out all the other places were closed so our choices where them or a bar. So we MISTAKENLY went back. We waited another 5 minutes, and maybe 2 more tables had walked in so we waited more. I leaned over and asked my fiance if we should sit (there are seriously only like 6 tables in the building) because maybe they needed the time and he agreed. We sat (we had already looked over the menus laid out on the counter) then my fiance went to grab one just to check what we were getting, and the old woman behind the counter just jumped at him, “UH THERES A SIGN TO HE SEATED” (of the like 6 tables where 3 were already taken) He said, “ok, where should I sit” she repeated herself in the same tone. Then when I stood up (to go wait by the sign) the other old Male employee laughed loudly then said TO OTHER CUSTOMERS “Need to have some patience” rudely. I read other reviews about how rude these people were, seriously wished I’d listened. I hope you do the same.

These guys work their butts off! Seems like they might need some help but if you are patient, you will be rewarded with good food. I ordered food to go while in the restaurant and the couple never had a moment to stand still. It being 3pm on a Monday, you’d think they could catch a break. Nonetheless, the food was excellent.
I had a ham and bacon panini. My husband tried the Bigforker. The panini was on a standard type of bread rather than what you’d expect from a panini but I thought it was better that way. The Bigforker was a more traditional submarine style cold cut but husband said it hit the spot on a hot day. Ambiance was pleasant and they seem to also specialize in desserts of all kinds. Next time I’ll have to try one (or four) out.

Wish I had better news to share. Visited on july 4th. Granted it was busy but the owners choose to not hire staff and they are not organized enough to run things alone. Can’t keep track of orders or even the one bottle opener in the store. Waited over an hour for a mediocre club sandwich and a margarita. Lovely outdoor patio…but that’s all that shines at this restaurant.
