Incredible ice cream, hot and ready foods and delicious jams ! Unique, strong flavors with ample serving size, the pork ribs burger is delicious and the pressure fried chicken is just the right amount of juicy and crisp! We stopped in on a visit to the state and whether you’re visiting or a local this is a great place to stop by and enjoy!

Went here for lunch while visiting my brother in Chambersburg. Food was excellent! It was a little difficult picking which flavor of ice cream to have for dessert out of the many offered.
The grandkids had fun playing on the playground they have there.
The store was busy and we’ll stocked. Looks like a lot of locals do regular shopping here.

We’re visiting our son in Chambersburg and took a drive to Windy Knowll Farm for lunch. Very nice place that has seating indoors and outdoors. The ladies in the deli and register were very friendly. But the girls at the food stand were not friendly, no one said hello nor asked us if we were ready to order and because of this I’m giving them a 4 star review.

On our obligatory local creamery outing and we chose a good one on a nice Labor Day Saturday. Windy Knoll has a large farmer’s market with a food counter and their own ice cream brand. Good, creamy ice cream, moderately priced at $3.99 for a single dip. My go-to coffee ice cream was nicely flavored with some crunchy bits, my partner’s triple chocolate had a nice dark flavor. Food service seemed slow – the line didn’t seem to move while we waited our turn for ice cream. A couple at the food counter at the same time we were, got their food long past the time we finished our ice cream. Our line was slow – one scooper who also rang up the purchase – but not as slow as the food line. The best and unique part is that their customers are welcome to sit and enjoy their patio furniture for as long as they want. There is also a small slide/swing set for little ones. It was a nice day so we just sat on one of their gliders and hung out for another half hour. The furniture is for sale and even though they’re out in the elements, they were clean! We’ll come back on a weekday to try their food. The fried chicken looks really good!

It’s really good,but on this occasion I got the Angus burger special I ask with no cheese, I got cheese and mayo which I don’t care for, normally there right on but during there Fall Harvest Days there running around with there heads cut off,yes you guy’s deserve a 5 star,

If your looking to get some good food and delicious ice cream definitely check this place out. The ice cream is all made there and the servings are massive. The place is very neat and clean, and The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Windy Knoll for doing what it takes to create a great experience for your customers.

Very nice place. And a precious few things are reasonable. But the majority of products are just ridiculously over priced. A small bag of bulk potato chips $6? Maybe a handful less than a commercial bag that’s around $3.50. Seriously?? And an average sandwich,(not homemade on homemade bread), small bag of chips & drink $12. Seriously??
All you’re paying for is the quaint setting. Bulk foods should = savings. Nope! Not here.

Very good creamery. They have a full menu (breakfast lunch and dinner) restaurant. You order and pick up at the counter, then seat yourself. There’s an inner and outter dining room. The restaurant is attached to a grocery store. The grocery store has plenty of local products. There’s even a fully stocked deli. The sell outdoor furniture here too.

Market has many delicious homemade items in the deli and bakery. The Cafe is great. The homemade icecream is delicious, reasonably priced and nice servings. Employees were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly reccomend a visit.

This place is great! Bakery, precooked foods, baking supplies, ice cream, deli / grille counter it’s got everything and it’s all good! Stopping in near Christmas time is my favorite. You can get real fruit cake that tastes good and cookies like your grandma used to bake. 20 minutes from Cashtown. Maybe 30 minutes from Gettysburg!
