You can’t find a breakfast buffet here in Owensboro with such a large selection. Cheese grits, potatoes, homemade biscuits with two choices of gravy. One with sausage and one without. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and chicken strips and much more. If you arrive at 11am you can have their lunch buffet along with the breakfast items. Breakfast is served until they close. The lunch menu is different every day. If you’re not wanting the buffet their menu has a variety of options to choose from as well, for breakfast and lunch. They also have country ham and a few other things added to the already delicious food on Saturday and Sunday only. They are closed on Monday’s. The owners and staff welcome you like family. If there’s anything you want or need just ask. Don’t forget to check out the museum and gift shop before you leave. They are awesome!!!!!!!

We were in the area visiting Holiday World, but stayed at a hotel nearby. Found it on google and wanted to try something new, and WOW was it a treat! There’s a cute little shop, a museum, and the most interesting and delicious breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen. Other diners, take notes! There was pancakes, French toast, biscuits, gravy, homemade donuts, grits, cheese grits, potatoes, fried chicken, sausage, bacon, fruit, bread pudding, banana pudding, and so much more! Not to mention, the menu itself was so intricate, too many good options to decide from! Pictured, I got a latte with oat milk. I can’t remember the flavors, but my mother got another flavor and both of ours were fantastic! I’m really glad there were dairy free alternatives not only for the coffee, but options (on the menu) for dairy free or flour free gravy! This place is such a delight and I wish I could pack it up and take it home with me! Can’t wait to come back!

Normally, you hear a lot of hype about a place, it’s junk, like a certain bbq place down on Parrish. I finally came in and tried this place, and it doesn’t just live up to its hype, it goes above and beyond. Home cooked food, great service, coffee of all sorts, and a definite southern feel. Only bad thing about it is they have limited hours.

Nothing short of 5 stars for this place – if I could give 10 I certainly would!!

To start off, when you walk in, it’s like a little museum full of the most eclectic things you definitely won’t see at your local Cracker Barrel – and the little section to shop at has the cutest little items from local businesses! Perfect for stocking stuffers or regular Christmas gifts!

The food is absolutely delicious regardless of if you order from the menu or if you do the buffet! The chicken is so tender and the biscuits are YUMMY. They also have started serving all kinds of fun coffee – iced or hot it is always so good. Staff is always very welcoming – I’ve never had a bad experience. I live in Evansville and it’s always a top choice for breakfast/brunch when we want to go out to eat, even though it’s 40 minutes away! Definitely check it out!

All of the food here is outstanding! I’ve had the “It’s a Biscuit Mess,” the “Chicken Skillet,” the chocolate waffle, and even a cowboy cookie. I HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Skillet. It’s a perfectly blended savory explosion. They are also one of the only Mom & Pop locations open on Sundays in Owensboro. It’s a different experience than their Wendy Hollow Restaurant, but equally as amazing!

Great breakfast. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We had a server named Gaylynn who was the best. Busy but never affected the food or quantity available. They have a really cool gift shop also. Great experience.

Quality food and service at a reasonable price. One of the best coffee menus in town. The decor is a collection of local history that adds to the experience. Definitely worth checking out especially since they are now open with a brunch buffet every day but Monday. REAL buttery Mashed Potatoes and Fried Green Tomatoes are a must.

Deconstructed Biscuit is not only tasty but good value. Eggs were perfect. Bacon crispy yet juicy. Biscuit and gravy is seasoned superbly.

Older building full of interesting photos.
