Down the street from us so we finally decided have a go @ it. Beer taps haven’t been cleaned this year and items like basic burgers weren’t available. We had to ask for several basic items like silverware and ketchup etc etc. Except for smoked wings the rest of food as a former KCBS certified Judge was just plain lousy. Menus have crossed out prices so u be guessing without asking the lone waitress embarrassingly for every price. We paid using the Toast QR code on the check but when we were two blocks away we heard the Manager scream @ us we didn’t pay the bill so we had to walk back and show the totally clueless staff we did pay. Run don’t walk away from this place.

Let’s get this straight right from the jump, Kenzo is an artist in the kitchen and in life. Those tacos were 10/10, exactly what I was looking for. And as for Star, again 10/10 service. This was not only amazing food and service but also a great conversation… there was a sense of hospitality and welcoming that is often put up as a front… but they meant it great food, great service. 10/10 will be back again

I’ve been on a quest to find the best BBQ in NOLA and a friend recommended Hard Core BBQ. Micah and his staff are top notch; most importantly, the food was outstanding! 10/10 recommend Hard Core for locals and visitors!

14 of us Went to this establishment during a Wounded Warrior wheelchair event. They had NO brisket or pulled pork or wings. All they had was burgers and some chicken so we left. We gave them a second chance and went back another night, the place was empty when we got there…again this “BBQ” place had no pulled pork. We managed to pick some food and drinks and began to wait…2 other tables came in, got their food and left before the first app came out to our table. 2 hrs later we still had incomplete orders..and(refrigerator) cold food. When it was brought up to the VERY rude lady behind the bar there was an immediate attitude, an AUTOMATIC 20% gratuity was added to all of our bills including the person that never got his food. I have NO issue paying a good tip for GOOD service but poor service, cold food, incomplete menu items and a bad attitude to me do not include good service. I DO NOT recommended eating here.

Great food, good music, good drinks, and good vibes! I had the smoked chicken and pulled pork tacos, plus the jambalaya; all were excellent renditions. The smoked meats are what I would call “Memphis Style,” meaning smoked “slow & low.” Super tasty. The jambalaya was more like what your Grandmaw made; “dry style,” without the crazy food coloring found in most mixes. Again, very tasty.
Jukebox will be playing everyone’s favorite 90’s thrash metal.
Really good selection of tap beers (20+) and a great Bloody Mary, along with a full bar.
If you’re hungry in the CBD/Convention Center/WWII Museum area, this is an excellent option.

Been here before and the food was good. But the second time I came, I waited so long that I didn’t get to eat during my lunch hour. Didn’t even get asked what I wanted to drink. Just sat at the bar for 30 minutes and then went back to work. Never let your customers leave hangry. The second star reflects the decent food from the last time. Can’t say I’ll be back. It’s too risky to gamble your lunch hour on “maybe I’ll get to eat”.

Most unique take on tacos. A Tennessee/ Mexican blend I’ve never come across till last year when I tried his bbq menu for the first time. Now there’s a physical location which brings me so much joy. I hated having to wait every Saturday, now I can’t eat it whenever till 2am.
