I normally don’t do reviews but I need it to be known that this isn’t “Chicago Food”. I was born and raised in Chicago and I have never had food this bad there. My husband and I both got Italian Beef, but I got the combo which included Italian sausage. First let’s speak on the smell of the food, when I opened the box I could instantly smell something wasn’t right. I disregard the smell (big mistake) and decided that it could just be my smell was off. I took one bite and noticed immediately that this was not Italian beef. I opened the sandwich to find three different types of meat (if you want to call it meat), and nothing else on it which I was highly disappointed because the menu said it supposed to have sweet peppers. There was a few pieces of meat on the sandwich that looked like it could have been sliced beef, then on the bottom of that it was this mushy type of meat. Then they placed, what was supposed to be an Italian sausage in the middle of the sandwich. I made up my mind and immediately said I wasn’t going to eat the sandwich and I was just going to eat the sausage. When I bit into the sausage I immediately knew it wasn’t a real sausage cause the texture and taste was off. I immediately spit it out. I then examined my husband’s sandwich which didn’t look anything like mine, so I thought it was safe for him to eat. He then ate it and I just settled for the Lay’s chips. I few hours later my husband got extremely sick and my stomach didn’t feel well also. I’m extremely disappointed because I just moved to Texas and I was expecting food to be alot better that this. Please be careful eating here.

I don’t usually care for doing reviews, but since I was hungry and my food isn’t worth eating I gotta say it. First off I didn’t read any reviews prior to ordering from the establishment. The first picture is what I was expecting which comes up with this company on google. When I seen the nice real Chicago deep dish pizza I was sold, but I ended up with the second picture below. My pizza Isn’t tasty and doesn’t look like the picture advertised . Please Place a picture of your Chicago deep dish instead. What you see is what you get is what customers appreciate. Let me tell you about the Parmesan wings I ordered that smell very bad from the time I opened the lid. The grease is bad which leaves everything you cook with a bad smell like old grease. Freshly battered chicken doesn’t look or smell like my wings. I’m just offended that you served me the wings like that. My mouth was set on the picture you advertise on google. After I opened the box I thought it was a mistake but it’s a Chicago empty deep dish pizza and that’s just it. If the grease isn’t bad that means the meat is bad. I can’t take any chances with Chicken like this. Hospitals are full and the Way my wings smell I would definitely not be well if I ate them. I’m not looking for nothing free and certainly not a refund. Look at your overall reviews and make changes if you care. People are not picking on this establishment like I said before my food made me look at your reviews. If I looked at the reviews I definitely wouldn’t have ordered anything. This my 45.00 Truth for free tonight!

The only reason I’m giving this a 2 star review is because it is a good tasting pizza, it’s got a nice tasting sauce and a decent crust. If I was rating on deep dish standards alone it would be a negative number. Look at the pictures people, no meat, thin crust, light on the sauce, it’s not a legit deep dish pizza. I was born in Chicago, to call this an authentic Chicago deep dish is an insult to the entire city. Al Capone would be rolling over in his grave if he saw this. I paid 40 bucks for a 12 inch thin crust pie that tasted ok but was by no means a legit Chicago deep dish pizza. Anyone from Chicago knows that a true deep dish requires a fork, you can’t pick it up like a hot and ready. This thing had nothing on it, LOOK AT THE PICTURES PEOPLE!! Keep in mind this is what they are calling a meat lovers, where’s the meat? This is not authentic Chicago pizza.

I used to come to this restaurant when it was at its original location and it was a good experience. I moved away and came back more than 4 years later and I was excited by the prospect of reconnecting to the food. That they moved the location isn’t an issue, but the restaurant’s unavailability seems weird to me. You can’t go into the place, you have to order to go and your food is brought out to you. I was here last week at 7:15 pm, the restaurant closes at 8 pm. The owner told me OVER THE PHONE AS I STOOD OUTSIDE THE DOOR that he stops taking orders at 7:05 pm. Really? I’m here with money in hand 45 minutes before closing and I can’t have an Italian Beef? LOL. So a week later I came back at almost 1 pm, the sign on the door says that for this day of the week, the restaurant opens at 11 am. It’s closed. I called the number on the door and no one answered. I don’t know what happened to the owner/business while I was out of town, but this just seems sad now. And at the end of the day, I still don’t have an Italian beef…

Pizza is a bit pricey, but man it’s hopping with flavor! I’ve never had Chicago style in Chicago, but if it’s like this I need to go visit just to eat it. Owner is cool too. Very responsive and answered some questions / concerns I had. Would definitely come back.

I think the pineapple on my pizza had gone bad to the point of it tasting like vinegar . Couldn’t eat 2 pieces . The salad was very limp and croutons were mush .. I was disappointed after reading all the reviews . There was hardly any ham present .. I think this was a harsh joke because of all the stigma for ham and pineapple lovers. You won this round! Terrified I’m going to get sick we ordered a medium deep dish.. there were hardly any toppings or cheese present.. the crust was rock solid and not flaky at all.. the owner was super friendly and talkative . I may go back .

I have to agree with Halladay below. I ordered the meat lovers pizza as well for a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and completely disappointed. If there was any meat in there it was well hidden. This was a cheese lovers pizza. Now to figure out what to get to feed my boyfriend for his birthday since this was an epic fail.

The pizza was really good. Loved the variety of topping options. I’m going to come back and try the Italian sliced beef deep dish. The owner was really excited about his pizza and he was kind too.
