Placed an pickup order for a club sandwich. Once there, you see this little gem has a bit of an old school feel with very friendly hard working staff (and owner). The result……one outstanding club sandwich crafted with fresh ingredients (including the game changer…fresh turkey breast)
Definitely looking to try some other sweet looking items that I saw coming out of the kitchen.
Thanks Windmill, great job.

Ordered a few more items today.
Tired their version of the Philly Cheese Steak and the result……again, another Tasty sandwich. Tender grilled steak with onions and mushrooms.
The Western sandwich was another crowd pleaser.
Solid meals at very reasonable prices and to top it off, awesome staff.

Absolutely loved this hidden gem. Best greasy spoon in town. Eggs Benny and Philly cheesesteak were top notch. Everything is homemade and you can tell. Staff is super friendly and warm. The place is the perfect old school diner type vibe. Super clean. Highly recommend. We will 100% be back soon! Loved everything about it. Thank you!

We had the specials – homemade tomato soup with hot beef and Beef/barley with Tuna melt. Delicious.
Was close by for a car appointment and found this hidden neighbourhood favourite. Busy lunch rush!

Small diner in the Burlington neighborhood, with great food and friendly service. We were in the area and decided to give it a try, so glad we did. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and fries. Everything was fresh and we waited less than 10 min for our food. It was so delicious and the price is reasonable. Lots of customers during lunch time on a weekday, I assume they are regulars and mostly retired. It felt cozy and welcoming. Would definately return if I am ever in the area!

A real classic diner that brings you back to the good old days. Relaxing atmosphere with the nice neighbors sitting next to you. The food is also of the classic taste, made with hearts at very reasonable price. Worthwhile for making a trip for this gem.

Had the lunch special. Roast pork with carrots and mashed potatoes and cabbage soup. It was delicious. Best cabbage soup I have had and the pork was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Will definitely be back.

10 STARS. Easily the best breakfast deal around. Always awesome food and amazing service. Feels like a diner you stop into on your way to the cottage. Breakfast or Lunch…always a delicious meal. Remember to request onions in your hash browns. And do a turkey club on rye with fries.

As expected independent diner with all the classic favorites…. eggs seemed richer for some reason than chain places…. relaxing and friendly…. like stepping back to the 80s

I do like my breakfast joints! Once again, we are between 4 and 5 stars. Really solid 4.5, not quite 5. Service was a real standout. We were seated, served and left within the hour. Not that we were in a rush, but wow, talk about efficient! I think if you were looking for a quick bite, this is the place.
Food was very good too, with portions that were good. Not too much, and not leaving you wanting more. And that diner coffee that is always so good. I don’t know how many cups I had, but it was a lot!
Definitely recommend. Service, quality and price. Can’t go wrong!

It was our first time trying this restaurant. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. (Oh! And the hot water in the women’s washroom was sooo hot! That’s a good thing.) I ordered a basic breakfast; 2 eggs (over medium), potatoes, peameal bacon, rye toast and coffee. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but there could have been some more potatoes. The coffee was good. I really liked the potatoes and the way they were cooked. My daughter had a cheeseburger and fries. The first thing I noticed was the ‘cheese’; a processed cheese slice 🙁 The fries arrived a few minutes later on a separate plate. I thought that was a bit strange. Overall, my daughter enjoyed the cheeseburger and fries. When I went to pay, the cheeseburger was $2.00 more than on the menu! I was told that $8.25 was for a “frozen hamburger”, but my daughter had a fresh burger. She asked if the waitress didn’t tell me? No, she didn’t. And no where on the menu did it mention the surcharge for a ‘fresh’ hamburger. My bill was adjusted.
For what I paid, I feel that the portions were pretty small.
It was an experience.
