DO NOT order from here unless you would like DRY, disgusting food. Ordered for carry out, as I am still trying to find a good Chinese carry-out restaurant in Columbus. I ordered the Sizzling Noodles with chicken, beef, shrimp stir fried with vegetables in brown sauce, which was described as, “Thick egg noodles served on a hot skillet”. I was so excited to find a great Asian noodle dish. Absolutely not. This was fried, burnt, dried out spaghetti with the “sauce” and meat served on the side. It looked like soup served with a side of dried out noodles. Obviously was not expecting much since it is never as good as in the restaurant, but I thought it would be like lo mein, where it is all served together, but this was unacceptable. I also got a side of fried rice just to try. This was the driest, blandest fried rice I have ever tasted. I am so disappointed, as the reviews were great and the pictures looked yummy, but looks like another Chinese restaurant bites the dust.

This used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant. Not anymore. The quality of the food has really gone downhill. We ordered chicken and broccoli. It was flavorless and the chicken seems to be all back meat. We also ordered green beans and pork. It was mostly greanbeans and a few grisly pieces of pork that made my son sick. The hunt is on for a new Chinese restaurant as we definitely won’t be back to this place!

This is my husband’s favorite chinese restaurant in the area. The chicken fried rice was good (according to my husband). I twice cooked pork and it was so good. Reminder, if you want to order the same dish make sure to request a non-spicy one if you can’t handle spicy food.

We ordered the Mongolian trio: very little protein with this dish. Potstickers were the worst I’ve ever eaten. Fried rice bland without egg or vegetable. Beef teriyaki was dried out. Food quality has definitely declined over the last several years.

We have been dining at Windchimes for over 20 years and it’s still our favorite! We just had my mom’s 75th birthday here (a large party of 35) and everything was perfect! The food was delicious, excellent service and the room was all set up for us with a cake table, cake service and plates and a beautiful dining room. They went above and beyond to make my mom’s day perfect! Windchimes will remain our family favorite for many years to come! Thank you so much!! ❤️

Not sure what happened. The food was bland and completely different from the last time we ordered from there months ago. New owners? New recipes? Not good. Won’t be going back…they have completely changed…for the worse.

Great spot for late night Chinese take-out. We door dashed their honey cashew chicken, general Tsos chicken paired with fried rice, dumplings, and egg rolls. All were fresh and delicious. They kindly provided extra rice too! Have not had honey cashew chicken in a long time and just wanted to shout out how well they prepared this dish, especially for takeout. Saved this location to my bookmarks and will definitely be ordering from here again!

Windchimes is the best Chinese restaurant in Columbus, BY FAR! I would even argue that they have the best Chinese food in the state of Ohio. What’s interesting is, for as amazing as they are, they are never crowded, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the service is second to none. My wife demands Windchimes at least twice a month and honestly, we crave it even more often than that. Sometimes, I will go pick up a side portion of pot stickers for lunch. This place is outstanding in every way. Treat yourself. No matter how long the drive is, it will be worth it.

This was one of our favorite pre-pandemic restaurants and it was carry out only for almost two years. The dining room is open once again and just as before the food is fresh and delicious! The kitchen is very fast completing orders so you can go in with a good appetite and not worry that you’re going to fade away from hunger before your meal arrives. I had sesame chicken and my dining partner had Mongolian scallops. Both came out sizzling hot and delicious. The decor is traditional, the only knock was the paper overlay on the linen tablecloth and the paper napkins that detract from the overall professional appearance of the dining room.

Food was inedible from the DoorDash order we got. Disappointing experience. Attached pictures of my brown salad & lemon seeped pad Thai
