Win Place and Show has been a staple honky tonk country bar of Ruidoso, NM since 1956! Live music, dance floor and full bar. Attached to the bar is our package liquor store where you’ll find beer, wine, spirits, specialty bourbons and WPS merchandise. Outside is our Axe Throwing facility (safe and fun for the whole family) and patio, featuring live outdoor music! Incredible bar that was thankfully open early in the week (rare in Ruidoso) for an afternoon beverage. While they have a big patio next door (where there’s also ax throwing) that wasn’t open at the time. Better for us as the vibe inside was perfect and the bartender was super sweet.

Stopped by during the first night of a recent visit and saw that this place had karaoke. There’s some fun local talent, and the guy running the show made it fun and also sang a few. Made us feel like we found a nice group of fellow party-goers. Had a great time!

Service was good at first then she proceeded to tell my friend the bartender was watching you. We had been there two hours before them. She said the new law says only to get drinks every 45 mins bc the law is watching them. Have been coming here on Labor Day for 10 years. Not sure we will be back to WPS.

The lady at the bar was lovely. She was very attentive and warm. My fiance and I did not stay long but it is a place that we will be going to again when we visit Ruidoso in the future.

This is by far, the best place to hang out in Ruidoso. There’s something fun to do there day and night with axe throwing, live music during the nice days outside, and more music at night with dancing in the bar. Has a great atmosphere with excellent service and genuine people.
