This is a true burger joint. BURGERS FRIES AND A FEW SANDWICHES.
No fancy, no frills,just a diner that’s been a community staple for 80 years!!!
That’s but that’s all you need to know when you walk in here.
Walk in a hop on a stool at the counter. Listen to the locals talk about weather and their neighbors.
Menu on the wall, choose deliciousness and give a very short wait.
Hubs ordered the chili dog and lemonade , I ordered the cheese burger and fries.
It was hot, super fresh and delicious .
Good eats cheap!

Cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. Absolutely do NOT get the Pepper Hash; weird taste and consistency. Cheeseburger was okay. Pork burger was dry. Everything straight from the freezer.

We went there to eat, his breakfast was very good, I had a cheeseburger which was very good. I was disappointed that it comes on a piece of wax paper, no basket or plate. I guess they could only spare plates for breakfast?? Diner atmosphere. The service was quick, but it wasn’t busy. The attitude was ok, not real friendly however. It was clean as well

The staff were incredibly rude.
Nobody in the food Industry should be wearing flip flops in the kitchen. Let along both employees.

I had an outstanding experience at Wimpy’s! The food was absolutely delicious: fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that nails both food and hospitality at this level. Easily a 5 out of 5 stars for me, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Friendly burger joint/ grill. They grill the good right in front of you and cooked to perfection. The son of the owner was working and very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were also very reasonable, especially in today’s times where everything seems to almost be doubling their regular price. Definitely going back next time I’m in town.

I was in Washington today and for the first time, I tried Wimpy’s.
No one was wearing gloves, the meat was grey that was pulled out of the refrigerator with bare hands, the big block of cheese had no plastic casing around it and was handled bare handed to pick a slice of cheese off of the block, big bag of French fries was opened up and again bare handed from the bag to the fryer, tomato sliced bare handed along with the lettuce. When they smashed the grey round meat to make a patty, there was absolutely no red meat, just grey!! I can’t believe all of the great reviews they are getting. Sorry, I won’t be back.
