Service was really good and good came out quick. It is expensive for what you get though and there are better places to spend your money. I had a spicy burger that was £6+ but then a “meal deal” for a drink and fries costs the same again! The burger was just like you’d get off a cheap fair ground burger van too. The salt and pepper shakers were disgusting!

I had a very pleasant experience with my partner, we were met by a happy waitress and sat promptly before being given the menus, there’s quite a variety which is always nice, I chose a chicken burger and my partner chose the Wimpy large mix grill, with a side of mozzarella sticks, both meals were prepared and served well and we’re filling and tasty, I had a chocolate milkshake which too was a meal in itself, this is a very nice place to eat I would definitely recommend and will be eating here again in the future!

Hi it’s Nigel from Kidderminster. What a brilliant memory for me. I remember eating a Cheeseburger in Oxford, all those years ago. This restaurant was excellent. The food was excellent, the waitress was lovely, and the Manager, Ala, hope I have spelt your name correctly, was so helpful and informative. The shakes in a glass? Wow, they were something special, as I remember them. Who cares about the cost? I normally do, but this time? It was worth it! Thank you for bringing back to life a Wimpy that I remember. I haven’t been to to of these places since I was about eight years old – food was okay for the price, tasty and decent quality.
The restaurant was clean – toilets were clean.
Slightly more cheerful music and a few smiles woud make it a five star.
Would I return? definitely.

I haven’t had a Wimpy burger since I was a kid so thought I’d try one. To be clear, I’m not expecting it to be the amazing burger of my youth – that’s rose tinted nonsense. And this isn’t a reflection of the staff (who were lovely) or the restaurant (which was bright, clean and friendly). No faults there at all.
But let’s be clear, this was a tasteless, bland and clearly heavily manufactured burger: it appeared to have no discernable minced meat at all in it and if it was indeed meat it must have been the mechanically removed goop. The “meat” was perfectly round, smooth and I wasn’t sure if it was a vegan imitation that they’d found loose on the grill. I just couldn’t eat it so I binned it (I had it as take out).
Again, no reflection on the staff or restaurant itself and I hate to say this but it’s easily the worst burger I’ve ever had.

Great place to get something to eat whilst you are in Shrewsbury! Went at 10:30 and we were the only ones eating there. The milkshake is quite thick and sugary, which is great as most places’ milkshakes are really milky. Had the big breakfast and it was fairly filling. The cost isn’t too bad either, and the food arrived within 10 mins. Would go again. 4.5/5

I hadn’t been in a Wimpy since childhood. I hadn’t realised it was still going. What a treat it was too. Good food including good veggie options, great shakes and the fabulous desserts that they were also known for are still on the menu. Also well as great table service.
The staff here were fabulous, the food and beverages we’re tastey, a wonderful trip down memory lane.

Genuinely disgusting food, lidl frozen section would’ve actually been better!! The staff were very nice and did a great job. The food was expensive and absolutely vile, would never recommend for human consumption! Avoid like the plague!!!!

It’s been years and years since I’ve been in a Wimpy restaurant. We had 2 original burger meals and a chicken burger meal. Two milk shakes one strawberry and one banana. Burgers were lovely and the chips were lovely and crisp as well.with lots of sauce options as well. The chicken burger meal was also lovely with lovely crisp chips. The milk shakes were really thick and lovely. Good atmosphere. Great friendly service and staff .overall a really nice meal.
