My boss and I planned meetup at this location. Let me say the women and men that I encountered here were supremely classy, down to earth and festive. There was not a screwed face in sight. The comedian kept us entertained the entire brunch. The dj was fantastic very classy music. It felt like a family function. The buffet style brunch was awesome the service was amazing the Cajun shrimp and grits, the fried fish, the chicken and waffles, the Mac and cheese the salad were beyond fresh, and seasoned to perfection. Overall it was very upscale ! . The owner gave us complimentary mimosa. Wow! 10/10 would most definitely recommend.

Great place to enjoy a laugh, a drink or your significant other. Black owned and operated salute to Staff and Management.
My wife and I enjoyed a Comedy show this past Sunday and we loved it. The comedians were funny and not too raunchy or off putting. We enjoyed mixed drinks and appetizers and the food arrived fast and hot. The waitstaff do a good job, but you could tell they were inexperienced but it didn’t bother anyone. I didn’t take any pictures but I’m sure my wife did. I will update and add pictures later.

Wilson’s Restaurant is a great vibe. The food is was very good, the DJ keeps the music flowing, and the hype man/comedian brings such fun energy to the room. It feels welcoming, lively, and never boring. A great spot for good food, good music, and a really good time. Highly recommend!

What I love most about Wilson’s is it’s entertainment. They have amazing singers and bands, comedians and musicians. They have a party atmosphere on a Friday. I’ve been there three times and the biggest concern I have is that the food for the price doesn’t seem to be aligned. I think the quality or at least the seasoning and taste can be perfected. The chef is rumored to have been on hell’s kitchen or some reality cooking show. So presentation and taste is surprisingly underwhelming. Also, the service can be a little bit slow. However, the wait staff are magnificent. They’re kind, polite and accommodating. They really seem to care about the service that they give you. I still recommend going because if you have a good crowd of people that you go with and there’s entertainment that you enjoy you will have a good time. The MC is great as well as the DJ especially if you’re into old-school music you’ll really love the music and some of the themes that occur at Wilson’s. Gen X and Boomer crowd for sure. Remember you must pay for food and entertainment so it can get pricey.

Where do I start?? On Sunday, February 1, 2026 my husband and I along with another couple were at your restaurant for Sunday Brunch. For drinks, my husband and I ordered coffee, didn’t get any spoons. We asked for spoons, never came, we had to use our knife to stir the coffee. We ordered appetizers and our entrees at the same time, expecting to get the appetizers first. The other couple received their meals first, then only one appetizer came later. We never received serving plates for our appetizers (we had chicken wings and shrimp), where do you put bones and shells. We asked the waitress (Erin) about the other appetizer, minutes later she brought out the other appetizer. My husband and I asked about our entrée, she forgot to put the order in. She apologized and said the food was going to be piping HOT when it came out…NOT. None of the food was hot, it was luke warm. One person ordered grits, they were cold, another ordered eggs, they were cold. When my food FINALLY came out it was not hot. I had waffles, when I picked up the syrup bottle the bottom fell off and syrup went all over my coat. AFTER THAT I WAS DONE. The music was soooo loud we couldn’t even have a decent conversation. Our waitress (Erin) was very nice and polite. The food was good but would have been better if it was hot. That was our first and last time dinning there. On a Sunday afternoon you want to go out and enjoy a nice meal NOT music blasting and you have to scream at the person next to you.

The atmosphere was beautiful. The owners are extremely social and friendly people. The food selection for me, I didn’t much care for but my wife enjoyed it. My salad was good. I can only imagine how great it must be when they have live bands playing in there. The decor was beautiful and I love the design of place.

I do not recommend this establishment for a romantic evening or even for an authentic Southern meal. The cuisine is not prepared freshly; it appears to be pre-made and subsequently reheated in a microwave for each order. I was quite disappointed to receive a bill of $140 for food that was served cold and not freshly prepared. As a cook myself, I can distinguish between frozen string beans and fresh ones, and in this instance, the ends on the beans were still attached. Additionally, my partner requested condiments to enhance his meal, which were never provided, nor did the server return to check on us. It was highly unprofessional and unhygienic to observe that the server served our food with their bare hands instead of using a tray. They carried the food through a crowded area with the dishes uncovered, allowing multiple individuals to talk over and potentially touch the food and the server’s clothing. This behavior was quite off-putting. My partner and I paid a total of $62 just for entry and seating; it seems they aim to emulate the ambiance of WarmDaddy’s or Ms. Tootsies, but this establishment does not meet that standard. Furthermore, the bartenders frequently diluted drinks with excessive ice. I felt uncomfortable, especially since it was my partner’s birthday, and both of us left feeling unsatisfied.

Went to Wilson’s on 1/10/26 with family to celebrate my 63rd birthday. We arrived at 6:15, seated right away, ordered our food at 6:40pm and waited an hour and 30+minutes. The wait staff brought food to our table twice that was not ours. I asked another wait staff to get the manager. I spoke to the manager(Yani). She was the woman checking tickets at the door. She went in the back and brought our food out. The string beans on my plate was too spicy. My family lost their appetite and asked for a to go box, my son did not want his food as the smothered turkey wings and yams, was piled on top of each other and the plate was a mess! All the plates look like the food was just thrown together. Our cocktails sat so long and were now watered down as we didn’t want to drink without eating. The whole evening was ruined.
