Willowcreek has been a Vista neighborhood staple since 2004. Join us on the patio in the summer for a refreshing local craft beer and one of our hand-crafted burgers then come back in the winter and warm up by the fireplace with one of our hearty house-made soups. We offer a range of vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. Raw Sushi, our younger sister, has been a go-to Bench spot for fresh, creative, delicious sushi for almost a decade. From our famous Rattlesnake roll to more classic fare like California and spicy tuna rolls, our chefs hand-craft every bite from the freshest ingredients available. Have a friend or family member who isn’t into sushi? No problem! We also offer the full Willowcreek Grill menu.

Small chain bar & grill serves creative American fare & microbrews on tap in a large, stylish venue.

I asked how big the nachos were, they said they could feed two people. While I ate them comfortably all by myself, they were big and I was totally happy with the portions. The folks I ate dinner with aren’t like me in that they prefer quality over quantity, but everyone enjoyed Willow Creek. There were lots of options for the pescetarians in the group too. Top notch place, we’ll be going fairly regularly now.

We ordered the bento box and miso soup. Not good quality food. The tempura was thick and cold. The miso soup was horrible, didn’t eat it. I’ve had their burgers and they’re great. Don’t waste your money on the wannabe Japanese food.

This place is a hidden GEM! 10/10 everything both times I’ve eaten here. The shrimp tacos are delicious and the sushi is on another level. This establishment is the perfect balance of taste to price. Everything is very large portions and the quality does not suffer from it. The burger was exceptional as well, with delicious bacon and guacamole, there was nothing wrong and everything right with that meal. The service was also perfect, staff is very friendly and helpful. Will 100% be coming back for more, I wish there were more stars to give!

Wish they offered a nigiri sampler, but I got the sashimi sampler. Menu is an interesting mix of American bar food and sushi. Sashimi was ok… service was great.

Food was delicious. We had the fish and chips and prime rib tacos. Definitely would order both of those plates again. Service was great, bathrooms were super clean. They also had a large TV and other TVs at a bar area you can watch games at. There was a fireplace in the back corner, making the room cozy. For the summertime, it looks as if they have patio seating too.

This place used to be amazing regarding their food. Recently ate there and it’s apparent they have jumped on the “what can we do to save a dollar and spread everything thinner” train. I ordered a fish entree ( not cheap) …. The pieces of fish ( only 2) resembled the a size of a slightly large fish stick and was mostly bread. The soup was water thin, and the oil used to fry everything was bitter and stale to taste . Clearly tasted like old oil .. The fry sauce tasted like fish sauce ( tasted spoiled) . and something that really changed the game was : they now charge extra for extra sides of ketchup and even mustered. Who does that???. Willow creek lost a long time customers due to “saving a buck.”

The Ceasar salad was just right.
My waitress was very helpful not just with my trying to find my phone! But providing a great meal experience as well even tho they were pretty busy.

The food here is uniquely varied yet they pull it off with would success. We each got a different genre of food, and all 8 of us were thrilled. From standard kid friendly fare to sushi to Swiss mushroom burgers to dessert, everything satisfied the tongue and the eye, plus the staff was warm and personable.

We were in Boise, Idaho overnight before a flight to Seattle. We asked for a recommendation for a restaurant and Willowcreek Grill and Raw Sushi was suggested. So we tried it.

I ordered Bahn Mi Tacos with Miso soup. My mother got a plate of steamed veggies, a miso soup and a chicken noodle soup.

The people at this restaurant need to try their food. Our first bowl of Miso soup came out cold and it was very salty. We asked for another one and for it to be hotter. The next one was warmer but probably had twice as much miso in the soup as it needed. It was so salty tasting we couldn’t eat it. The Bahn Mi tacos were extremely spicy my eyes were watering. I can not tell you if these were any good because I couldn’t taste them. I ran out of water and was dying. The sauce was just dripping out of them all over the place. The chicken noodle soup was good and the vegetable medley was good (no seasoning).

I’m sorry to say we were very disappointed.
