Cozy, quiet. Busy, not crowded. Wheelchair friendly. View of marina, the lake. Two “starters” as entre ( see photos). A lot of mushrooms, well cooked. “Seared salmon with sesame coating” was served as medallions- RAW fish! Wasabi & teriyaki on plate made it palatable (NOT good). Coffee was good; Near impossible to get refills (cream & sugar “rationed”. Three separate requests for more…). Plenty if staff; None gave me the time of day – NOT attentive.

Enjoyed the bands, though the music was pretty loud, but we sat as close to the entrance so we could have conversation with friends. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze off lake. Friends reported that their grilled salmon was great. I enjoyed the asparagus and fried okra. My shrimp was cooked perfect but the crepe was mushy and cold. Enjoyed the different alcoholic drinks too.

Wouldn’t know about the food because after waiting for an hour we never got it. Waitress never checked on us to even refill our drinks. We were told they were out of batter after it had been an hour.. we ordered grilled shrimp and chicken tenders for our kids.. no apology or explanation made whatsoever and they still charged us for the drinks. We had to at least ask for some fries to go. Do not go out of your way for this place. We rode an hour by boat to have a nice Father’s Day lunch. Lesson learned.

We arrived at 5:30 pm and were seated immediately. We did not receive our meal until almost 7:00 pm. The food was good but the Shrimp Crepe, not “crepes” is overpriced for what it is and should be listed as an appetizer. The crepe did not come close to the online photos. There were 5-6 sauteed shrimp in a Alfredo sauce folded in a crepe with a barely a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. The shrimp crepe at Willie Mac’s is not a top 100 entree as advertised. A meal for two that included a water, one diet coke, and a side salad totaled $72.00 with a tip. Just not worth the wait. We will not be going back anytime soon.

Service is top knotch. THANKYOU GABBY,! Solo guitarist was better than average. Food is way above average with a wide selection of surf and turf. Originally gave it a 5 as the view and atmosphere is worth it however mushrooms were fried way to long and shrimp po boy was over fried.

Just left there after a disappointing dinner of one crepe and 3 shrimp. Heard about this place for years and finally tried it. Save your money – overpriced with small portions.

Went last weekend and it was packed. Another guest waiting said it was worth the 30 minute wait so we stayed and he was right. It’s a very nice setting and comfortable environment. Great view of the lake and marina (that I wish I could fish) while dining. Service was a little slow but was expected for the amount of people. The server was attentive and friendly. Wish I could remember her name, just remember she was missing a finger (sorry). I ordered the catfish and it was dang good and will return for it. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and she was pleased as well. You get a lot of food for your buck. The prices seemed a little high until we seen the portion sizes. We drove 47 minutes to eat and will definitely be back.

Local restaurant that should be patronized. Live music venue too. Excellent pecan chicken and blackened salmon, do not miss out on the gigantic house salad. Good value.

Don’t go unless you like waiting 20 minutes for a beer and then have them forget one of your friend’s dinner and then wait another 20 minutes and still not get the meal. No one said sorry or offered to comp his bill. However they do have a nice deck with music that is too loud. So don’t think about talking with your friends because you can’t hear them.
