Sauce is good, your gonna need a lot of it!!
I paid $50, which im fine for paying for half way decent bbq, to check this place out. I threw $30 away because it wasn’t edible.
Im not going to go to into too much details but the food, especially for an opening 2nd day, was old tasting, over BOILED, and just mush. EVEN the baked potatos tasted boiled 3x over and was mush, with walmart toppings on it for $20ish. You can tell when something has been around for a couple days. Mac and cheese was simply velveta and noodles (little seasoning but not much) and 10c in noddle for $6-8, no actual cheese, box mac is better, sell that my friend and youll have less complaints. The moderate saving grace was decent collard greens with good heat and crunch but the abundance of food I had to throw away. Including half a rack of ribs that couldn’t have been anything but boiled/oven baked at best – no flavor, crust, seasoning. Big but fatty, tasteless, money down the drain. Im willing to give you alllll the money, I donate to the bbq gods way too often, just dont screw me. Days later, Im still upset.
I wished for better but got really bad food. I hate leaving such a low rating but as I rarely do but they know better and didnt.
2: In my opinion this is Average tasting BBQ at best. The restaurant looks beautiful inside but I came to eat.
I ordered a Lean brisket sandwich. I found myself pulling a lot of fat out of sandwich.
For a Brisket sandwich I was out the door at $15. It was fairly decent size sandwich but for $15 I going to get a full meal somewhere.
No value for your money if you ask me. $15 you gotta have a real side and maybe a drink when you are Average at best. Local Guide has spoken.
Jessica was so nice and helped us to navigate the menu.
We ordered jalapeño sausage , brisket, and a burger. Everything had generous portions and was delicious. Meat was not dry!! Oh and the fried okra was so good! Loved the spicy bbq sauce!
