We were a party of 4, on a Friday for lunch. Upon arriving, we were informed that it was a 35 minute waiting time. We asked about the bar area and were immediately seated. The bartender was very efficient with our orders and drinks. The mixed drinks were delicious. They do have a lunch menu which we ordered from. I had a wrap with fried chicken with french fries, very filling (actually too many fries). Nice place and we will go again.

Great Atmosphere and friendly staff and Awesome food. Truly never heard of the place but Would gladly eat there again. Had the fried flounder meal with that lovely sauce. I’m forever grateful for that beautiful meal. Don’t let the name fool you, it is truly worth it to sit down and dine at Willie Sue’s!!!

This is my second time here and let me tell you, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! The food (especially the crab cakes ) and the customer service is stellar. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Today we visited and I have to give a shout out to Tommy! He stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied and even baked some fresh cookies for my daughter! 100/100 service and food. I highly recommend this wonderful place!

Our server Peyton was fantastic! The food was great and the drinks were excellent. The prices were obviously higher than a chain but very reasonable for the very good service, the quality and the diversity of menu.

Started off with being seated after a 40 minute wait but no problem a good restaurant usually has a wait time into a booth that sat low due to being wore out and very uncomfortable.. then the waitress brings drinks out with her arm wrapped around them holding them against her shirt.. wasn’t a big fan of that but oh well I can live with it since I’d be using a straw.. salad was great, croissants was wonderful.. dinner comes I ordered 10oz fillet and wife ordered 1/2 rack of ribs.. the steak was ok kinda bland and a very small baked sweet potato.. her ribs seemed to be like a 1/3 rack instead of 1/2 a very small portion and again a very small potato.. no bread served with dinner.. a friend and I asked for A1 and was brought 1 very small cup for us both.. I was thinking what steak house that charges $40 for a steak and don’t serve bread with the entree and have a bottle of A1 on the table?? Didn’t feel like we got our money’s worth at almost $100 for 2 people and no alcohol purchased… After we finished eating we asked the waitress for a go box and about 10 minutes later she came back to the table and said she forgot turned around and left.. about 20 minutes later she showed up with the box and the check all the while there’s still people waiting to be seated in the entrance!! The place needs some structure and a sense of urgency instilled into the employees..

We came here on a whim, as we were staying in Poinset Park after visiting Charleston and Congaree. This was the best decision we’ve made on our SC visit. The food here was phenomenal and our server Christina R was an absolute rock star. She kept our sweet teas filled, gave great suggestions, and worked with us to course out our meals properly. If you’re considering this place, do yourself a favor and hop on in. I hope we cross paths with this restaurant again some day. #texanapproved
