Been here a few times and every time I go, I always love whatever I get. Their meats are very tender and they have daily specials. The special sauces, like sweet n sassy is my favorite! Perfect savory sweet goodness. I love the fried pickles, they’re always freshly made. Everything is fresh and the food is hot! They have a sauce bar and you can try all sorts of sauces, mustard based or not. The workers are very on top of things! Heather is really nice and she works hard. Love this place so much!! Don’t sleep on this place!!!

We ordered delivery from Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Q in Lexington and unfortunately it just didn’t hit the mark for us. We tried the chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, but everything came out pretty dry—not the moist, tender barbecue you’d hope for from a Southern BBQ spot.
We also ordered the peach cobbler, which had good flavor but didn’t quite make up for the rest of the meal. Hoping it was just an off day, because the menu itself sounds great and we wanted to love it.

My company is on a job site in Lexington SC and we had BBQ catered to the job site. Several of the crew have dined in during the project and were very impressed with the food. Everything was delicious and hot and the crew enjoyed it. All the food was delicious but the ribs were a huge hit. The owner personally delivered and helped set the food up.
If you are in the Lexington area and love BBQ, I strongly suggest stopping in for a delicious meal at Willie Jewell’s! You won’t be disappointed!

You won’t regret eating here. Great pulled pork separate or as a sandwich! I like it so much, I order it every time. There are a good amount of sauces to get at a “sauce bar”. And the sides are always plentiful and delicious. There are a lot of different meats and even really good Brunswick stew. We eat here whenever we’re in this area. If you want good barbecue, this is the place!

Always licking the bowl clean, if it ain’t empty, you didn’t enjoy it. Finger licking good. Reminds me of Ole Meemaw’s cooking. All the workers are sweet on us, love everybody every time I come. From the minute, I walked inside the restaurant to just look at the menu because there was a group of us waiting in the car to see if he would like what was on there. I knew instantly we would enjoy the atmosphere the service and the food was delicious.. The young man at the counter was most professional and had a great big smile. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the sauce bar there. There were many selections and it was nice that the booths were big enough to accommodate Five people comfortably. The food is excellent. You won’t be sorry and there’s so many sides to choose from too!

Nice place for lunch. Service was quick and fast. Friendly staff. I’m not greedy I was hungry. Heather is such a wonderful addition to their establishment. Nice, friendly and very welcoming. I love the baked beans and cornbread . Reminds me of my mother’s cooking when I was a child. Try this place out if you are in the area.
