We stopped in last Saturday night (10-4-2025). We sat down. The blonde waitress came over and took our drink order. After a few minutes of her and the dark headed waitress arguing about who was doing the most work. The dark headed waitress came over and wanted to take our drink order again. The blonde waitress brought us our drinks and no one brought us a menu. Finally we got a menu and ordered our meal. 3 people brought takeout orders back because they were wrong. They didn’t seem to know or care who ordered what. There was a family of emergency service people in the restaurant that everyone seemed to know. And they got their food pretty quick. The dark headed waitress boyfriend (I guess) was in the corner. He got his food quick. She spent a lot of time talking to him. It was loud because of the argument. I asked the blonde waitress was it always like this and she said she didn’t know. I asked was Billy there and he wasn’t. But after that it seemed to quiet down a little. We finally got our food and left. The food was great but the service was awful. I’ll never go back again. Waitress’s with that kind of attitude I don’t want them touching my food. Sorry, just the way I am.

I was NOT impressed with the service. We almost left. It was not busy at all. I counted 6 employees not including the guy cooking. We stood by the counter. No one acknowledged us at all. We sat down and waited and still no acknowledgement. I stepped to the counter and grabbed some menus. I asked the one young girl if we ordered at the counter. She said if they were busy they would take our order at the counter. They were not busy. There were 6 customers when we arrived. Either way, if 3 to 6 girls couldn’t handle that then maybe they are at the wrong job. There was an emergency broadcast that came over the radio. We kept asking them if they heard it. One girl was busy talking about her boyfriend’s birthday and what she bought him and how much she spent. I had to go get refills on our tea at the counter. One waitress that was on her break kept checking on us. That was nice of her. Please train your employees. That customer servuce gets 2 thumbs down. The food was good. I asked for my food to be fried hard. It wasn’t because the breader was soft and falling off my oysters. When people pay their hard earned money, we expect the service to be as good as the food. I just wanted to enjoy some lunch with my auntie. I dont get to see her often because i live in Oklahoma. This is not the only restaurant we have visited since I’ve been here with slow service.

I ordered 3 flounder sandwiches and pint of bbq. My husband picked up my order and brought home, when I opened the bag I found a plate with 3 small flounder filets and 2 slices of white bread and the pint of bbq. Cost was $32.05 . On their Site the sandwiches were $4.25 each. I called and asked why the bill was so high. They replied the sandwiches were six dollars each. I told her the site said $4.25. Her reply was , that’s the old price. I then asked why I only got three small pieces of flounder and two slices of bread. She says oh we shorted you four slices of bread.. That is how the sandwiches come. Would not recommend ordering sandwiches for pick up unless you check it out before you leave the window. Very disappointed.

Found this heavenly Cafe on Google heading home from Cherry Grove and I’m telling you that I would drive 2 hours from my hometown to eat the weekend buffet! Best food I’ve eaten in years! Talk about a gem mine. GOD BLESS!

Ordered the BBQ plate and a side of ribs. I gotta good words about the ribs. Best I’ve had in a while. I actually finished all 3 before I got home. The pulled pork had way too much vinegar to consume.

We were driving back to NOVA, we stopped to have something to eat, and ended extremely impressed and happy with food, service and atmosphere. Everyone else was beyond friendly pleasedful.
Their buffet delicious and affordable. We will do our best to stop to eat every time drive trough.

I went to get fish at 8:15. Pm yesterday. Spent $39. The food was not done. They rushed the food. I open my plate in front of one of their employees, and the employee told me that I can come back the next day to get food and I spoke with their manager and the manager told me she couldn’t do nothing about it

Ordered food and the waitress said the hamburger steak would be ready in about 20 minutes. Other people came in and they were served food, we continued to wait for 1 hour. Waitress said food is coming out now. Still waited for another 15 minutes. Eventually we got up and left. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
