Steaks were good. However, my wife likes her steak well done…I know, but that is what she wants, and she is the paying customer. Her steak came medium rare. The waitress indicated she would tell the chef. However, no response other than my check. Oh well, it was Shreveport, and Sam’s Town, where standards are low anyway.

Update as of 7/25/25. Another great meal. The Chicken Parm is absolutely massive! Super tasty as well. I highly recommend this on the menu

Update as of 4/5/2024. As always outstanding here! I had the Seabass special it was perfectly cooked and maybe one of the best takes on Seabass that i have ever had. The chef here knows how to create a solid dish.

2/4/2024…new menu! Had the seafood pasta… very good! Outstanding dining experience! I had an appetizer on special which was Lightly Fried Green Tomato with Pan Seared Shrimp! Wow! For the intermediate course I ordered soup of the day which was Tomato Basil… Freshly made and tasty! Dinner was Mahi-Mahi fish… Unbelievable! Guys wow! Props to the chef as this was an outstanding dish! A 10 out of 10! My waitress was fantastic as well!!

This was our first time eating at a restaurant at Sam’s Town Casino. The chicken permesean/noodles , Porkchop and asparagus was unseasoned. We used an entire pack of salt and pepper and still no flavor. The only taste was from the tomatoe sauce. There was only about 5 asparagus on the plate. It was horrible for the price. Very unsatisfied!

The reviews were tremendous, and I was so excited to go out for a girls’ night and enjoy ourselves.
We were disappointed with the experience as a whole.
Our waitress was so kind. She was handling a few tables as well as a large party. It sounded like she was newly from France. Loved her accent and how amazingly detailed she was when describing the entrees.
They were out of prime rib, which was understandable as our reservation was for 8 pm.
We had the oysters to start. Delicious, delicate, and no single, overwhelming taste. Cooked properly and arranged beautifully.
I ordered the salmon with a side of the lobster macaroni and cheese. It left nothing to be desired. It was perfectly cooked, flavorful, fresh, and had the perfect blend of cheese.
The next person ordered a ribeye and asked for it medium rare with the au gratin potatoes and the macaroni and cheese. Both sides were delicious. Cheese filled, crispy top, amazing. The ribeye was medium. It was overcooked for her liking.
The third person ordered a steak and wanted a sauce on the side. The sauce wasn’t served but was on our bill. The last person ordered pork chops, and those were so overcooked it appeared that the topping (with delightful little apple chunks) was actually being used to keep it moist.
I was the only person who enjoyed their full meal at our table.
To make it worse, we were too nervous to send anything back, as we’d all witnessed the chef reprimand and yell at our waitress. When we asked to take the sauce off the check, she said, “Of course! I am positive that I put that request in!” And she had – otherwise it wouldn’t have been on the check.
For the ratings this place had, it was a disappointment. I understand walking into a casino, you deal with the cigarette smell. I understand that sometimes you’re busy and understaffed. But I will never understand a chef thinking it’s okay to yell at a server or to ever do that in front of a restaurant filled with people. Especially when said chef only got 1/4 of the entrees correctly.

I ordered a house salad from your menu and evidently you were running low on lettuce, because this was the worst salad I have ever seen at the prices you charge. I had to go find something else to eat after I left your place because of the skimpy salad. The pecans were like rocks. I will never eat at your place again. Also your prices are a way too high. I can see why you weren’t very busy. I think you’ll be closing you doors soon.

The end-cap of our surprise Mother’s Day 2021 retreat. Both the service and food were outstanding! If visiting Sam’s Town, add this to your “must do” list, you will not be disappointed.

What a great place for dinner. Took my wife and children (19 and 17) for dinner Thanksgiving night. Both of my young adults said it was the best meal they have ever had. My daughter had beef wellington and son had the ribeye. Wow.

Traveling can be SUCH a challenge with food allergies and this lovely staff went OUT OF THEIR WAY to accommodate! The chef brought the food out himself.

He told me to order anything on the menu and I said “Chef’s choice”.

The flavor was AHmazing and everyone was so friendly!!

The atmosphere was interesting to people watch. It appeared there were regulars there and it had this uppity, familiar kind of vibe to it.

10/10 would go back again!

Thanks Chef David and the entire staff for a wonderful experience.

This is a review for their deli, $4.00 for a 12oz fountain service non refillable soda. What a joke. This explains this entire place. Bally’s has refills and better prices. Avoid at all costs. And no utensils for my salad. And the place is not even listed on Google. It’s called javas deli. It’s within sight of the steakhouse.

Kelly was excellent, Kelly was prompt and patient with the 6 guests. All the food was delicious and well made, except my Special Needs Son’s Steak, IT WAS RAW. My Wife’s Red Snapper Seafood dish was amazing, with a Large Succulent Red Snapper w/ 3 Large tender flavorful shrimp over a bed of well seasoned Rice and 6 Asparagus spears, 3 tender Carrot Spears with full of flavor sauce. All the steaks were delicious, 2 Steaks were cooked perfectly, 1 was a little undercooked. BUT 1 RIB EYE STEAK WAS NOT COOKED, ICE COLD IN THE CENTER, BLOOD POURING OUT. IT WAS DARK AND MY SPECIAL NEEDS SON GOT THE UNCOOKED STEAK ACROSS THE TABLE. HE TRIED TO EAT IT BUT HE GAVE UP. SO I CHECKED IT. IT WAS TO LATE, HE LOST HIS APPETITE. THE COOK RE HEATED THE STEAK BUT WE JUST TOSSED IT THE NEXT DAY.
