I can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s such a good place and Sam and brooke are so kind they made my day! The avocado toast was so good and the coffee was as well! Sam was so kind the whole time and even bought my sister and I a coffee! The atmosphere was amazing! I’d highly recommend this place!

We were visiting family in the area and saw that they were open (on Christmas day!) so decided to stop in for a quick beverage. What a great decision that was. This place is a gem.
Ended striking up a conversation with Sam the owner and meet his family as well. Super friendly and inviting. We talked about Asheville, Casablanca, cigars and more. He even gifted me a very nice cigar when I mentioned I forgot to bring any on our trip. I had the Pistachio iced latte. Delicious. We will absolutely be back before we head back home to try out some of the food as well. 10/10, highly recommend.

The owner, Sam, sets the tone for the entire place. He greets you like you’re an old friend and genuinely goes out of his way to make every single customer feel seen and appreciated. You can tell this isn’t just a business to him—it’s something he truly cares about, and that level of passion shows in everything.
The environment is always clean, welcoming, and comfortable, which makes it the kind of place you want to sit and stay awhile. The food and drinks are consistently amazing, made with attention to detail and quality. It’s hard to find a place that nails both the atmosphere and the menu this well, but Wilkes Coffee Co. does it effortlessly.
