Gemini suggested Wiley’s Top Shelf as the place to go in Waycross for a true South Georgia atmosphere and experience. As I am traveling around I have been asking Gemini to help me find the local restaurants that I just have to visit. Wiley’s certainly fits that bill. It’s a quiet conversion of a downtown building into a beautiful, quiet, comfortable bar and restaurant. They have a great selection of beers that I was told occasionally change to provide lots of variety. The food was delicious. And I hear they have the best Cuban North of Miami.

This place is absolutely awesome! A very clean and a pleasant calm environment to enjoy an adult beverage. Brooke was exceptionally helpful and very friendly. She answered all of our questions and gave us wonderful service. They have appetizers and small plates and the Buffalo chicken nachos were to die for. This will definitely be our new after-hours hang out.

Fantastic new gem! Awesome atmosphere with beautiful woodwork, the owners and our server were spectacular. Excellent bar service. Everything is made in house, fresh and unique. We enjoyed Shotgun corn and fry bread which had great flavors, and homemade jalapeño poppers, stuffed and unlike any we have had before!

We were on our way to Florida and stopped here for a drink. My Bloody Mary was delicious and they had my husband’s favorite IPA. The bartender was very good and we enjoyed talking with her. We didn’t have anything to eat as we had just eaten before we stopped but looking at the menu the prices were very reasonable. The bar has been open about 3 years but it looked brand new and was very comfortable inside.

What a great find! We are visiting Waycross from Florida. Checked Google Maps for restaurants in the area and found Wiley’s! From the street, it looks like an ordinary store front. Inside, it is beautifully appointed. We were warmly greeted as we entered. Brooke, a miracle worker, came and set up our table. With a great smile she explained all of the drinks available. When asked about several menu items, she gave excellent, enticing descriptions which turned out to be very accurate. Very unique dishes using different styles of buffalo chicken and sauce. Brooke was very versatile in that she greeted us, set the table, took our orders, mixed drinks, delivered our orders, and wiped tables while straightening seating, all done with a smile. We also met the owners who described how they developed the wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant. Next time in Waycross, we know where we are starting!

We recently did an event at this location for Harborview Health Systems and had an amazing experience. All of the staff were friendly and detail oriented. It felt as though they cared as much about the success of our event as we did ourselves. The venue was very clean, the drinks were great, and the grazing table was 5 star. All in all a great time at a very reasonable price, could not recommend Wiley’s enough!

We love coming here. We moved here 4 years ago and found this place. The beer is fresh, they have craft beers, and the Rubens are delicious. The bar tenders are personable/ amazing, and we love the atmosphere! They’ve had some really good bands come in. And some fun times like a murder mystery night coming up. Hands down our favorite place in waycross!
