Wow. Best tacos I had in US + best fresh food I had in KY. This is even better compared to most places in NYC or LA!! Please try the tongue, beef head, or even the intestines if ur feeling adventurous. Its the real deal, and only way to appreciate.

Next to gas station. Hard to find but was referred by a colleague during my short trip. They got something for vegetarian and willing to work with you in avoiding cross contaminating. The torta seemed novel. One star less in each as its close to best. Probably the best Mexican food in a 500 mile radius. Everything is fresh, hot, and delicious. Made by people who know what they’re doing, and are very friendly. Don’t be fooled by the odd location – this is high quality food.
Generous portions. Taco prices are a little bit high, but they stuff them full of savory meat. Prices on other things is actually low, considering how much they give you.
We got tacos, empanadas, and tacos dorados. All were wonderful.
I will be choosing CVG more often so that I can eat here before and after every flight.

STOP THE PRESSES!!!! This place is amazing. My husband and I stopped here because it was quick on and off 275. This place far surpassed our expectations. The food is so fresh, so good, so… everything you want. We will be back.

The taco place I have been looking for!
I had not heard of Martinez Tacos, I was driving home from work and Googled: “Tacos near me” and they popped up. I decided to give them a try and I sure am glad I did!
They are located near the airport, adjacent to the Shell station just off of I-275. The place seemed quite unassuming and in my experience this can be a good thing; no flair, no fluff, just food.
I got a few things to try so I could see what they had. I ordered beef empanadas, beef and chicken street tacos and a cheese quesadilla. The lady at the counter was very patient and friendly, and the food was made to order and bagged and ready in about 5 minutes. She even included one of each of their sauces for me to try: a mild, hot habanero and verde.
The quesadilla was perfect, I appreciate that they use authentic Mexican low moisture cheese so you get that nice chewiness and not a melted mess. It wasn’t greasy and was in a nice golden flour tortilla. Dipped in some of the habanero sauce it was excellent.
The tacos were amazing. You wouldn’t think something with three simple ingredients: steak or chicken, onion and cilantro, could be sophisticated but these were epic and stood out from the others I have tried by a long shot. The steak and chicken were both flavorful and tender. The toppings were very fresh and the corn tortilla had a perfect, unique homemade taste to it that brought everything together. And it also didn’t fall apart! Excellent with any of their sauces too.
The empanadas for me stole the show, they had a savory, crunchy, homemade outer layer, were filled with more tender steak and then topped with homemade pico de gallo, shredded lettuce and queso fresco! Absolutely amazing melt in your mouth goodness.
There are many taco places around, largely your more hip variety which can be tasty, but if you are looking for authentic, made from scratch taco bliss then look no further than Martinez Tacos, they are the best in the Cincinnati/NKY!

Had some steak empanadas. I got steak empanadas. Nothing else inside but cut up steak and cooking oil. At least they were made on the spot. Credit card payment seems a bit sketchy. Insisting me to swipe a card vs double obfuscated tap. I tapped fine even thought they said “no working”
