The place is tucked into a nook of an apartment building, so you might not notice it at first. But once you pass by, the aroma of freshly baked bread is unmistakable.
The space is clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate customers. I recommend coming for breakfast if you’re after their bread selection — everything is freshly baked and at its best early in the day. If you’re looking for a discount, try visiting before closing time, as they sometimes offer buy-one-take-one deals.
The food is prepared with fresh ingredients, and the overall atmosphere inside is warm and inviting. There’s limited outdoor seating available, and pets are welcome too!
Definitely worth a visit.
The food was outstanding. The sandwiches are made with high-quality, local meats and thoughtfully balanced flavors, you can tell every item was carefully curated. The charcuterie and crudité boards were also so fresh and impeccably presented. And the Caesar salad (usually ignored at parties) was gone first because it was that good. The baked goods, especially the signature Wildflour cookie, were a hit! I packaged them as party favors and guests raved about them.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, and we were allowed to bring in a few personal decor touches to match our theme. My guests were impressed not only by the food but also by the service and the overall ambiance.
Whether you’re planning a private party or just want a cute local spot to eat, Wildflour comes highly recommended. From the team to the menu to the gorgeous space, everything exceeded expectations.
The passion fruit topping on my pastry was delicious, as in I would buy a jar delicious. Not overly tart or sweet, good balance. I’ve had so passion fruit items I can’t even remember them all. This is up there with the best of them, I would spread this on sweet bread.
The Kouign Amann was the same, definitely past it’s prime for the day but the flavor was there, get it in the morning.
I love Equator coffee so the Vanilla latte was pretty decent.
Parking can be difficult even with the small retail parking which seems to be occupied by people other than retail customers. Bldg management will need to monitor this better and cite non-retail customers.
Darwin, Lisa, and team did an amazing job feeding us with delicious food. All the baked goods, dips, sides, and accoutrements are all made in-house. When we walked through the doors we were drooling over the smell of an open oven full of freshly baked goods. They were also very accommodating to any dietary needs (a couple vegan guests) and made customizations. I loved how there was something for everyone between the various grazing boards, appetizers, and sandwiches.
All of my guests raved about two things: the BREAD, that perfectly accompanies all their grazing boards and sandwiches. And the CAKES, which Darwin and talented pastry team custom made for our event. The perfect not-too-sweet, moist, and decadent mocha cake and earl grey cake.
Prior to our event, my husband and I have also dined in during regular business hours in the afternoon and in the morning to sample their yummy baked goods and pastries, and brunch menu.
The space is beautifully aesthetic and comfortably fit my party of 40 guests. All of our guests easily found parking within 1-2 blocks of the restaurant on and around Grand Ave and in the retail parking of the building.
Darwin and Lisa overall are just super kind, personable, and service oriented people. All of my friends and family had so many positive things to say about their wonderful service and personalities. It was so easy communicating with Darwin to customize our menu and organize the details. Please support this lovely small business! Thank you Wildflour!
