This place rocks! We came in to get a beer and a quick bite after finishing up hiking at Mesa Verde. The flatbread was perfect and the soft pretzel was seriously one of THE BEST I have ever had! We loved Apricity so much we got a growler for a beer share. I also loved the Back to the Garden. Awesome place and incredible beers!!

Having first encountered WildEdge’s offerings at a bar in Telluride, I was antsy to make the trek to Cortez to sample more of what they brewed.
The taproom is quiet, relaxed and full of mountain scenery/pictures.
The small patio out front offers more seating in a pristine setting, somewhat reminiscent of a city cafe.

The beers are absolutely amazing. Selections run the gamut from sours, to IPA’s to the occasional darker porter & stout. Don’t be fooled though, WildEdge’s forte are sours and bottle-conditioned. Ava they do it right.
I know Cortez is a long way from pretty much everywhere, but once here, it’s the ONLY place to sit, relax and sip the hours away.

This place is always brewing, coffee then beer every day. Large space that allows everyone to spread out, I comfortably took a meeting during the morning when the library was closed. They seemed to be dog friendly, which was refreshing. They have great pretzels, which are timeless. The staff were extremely nice, I am looking forward to the next visit.

Nice brewpub. Good selection, friendly staff. They close a bit early, but the whole town seems that way. Lighting is a bit stronger than you expect from a bar, but that makes it possible to read. The pretzel was yummy, with a a crisp and oily crust. As for the IPA, go with the number 9 over the number 10.

We went to order our beers and I asked him if the juniperus was any good. He explained the flavor profile and even offered a taster! It was in fact good and I ordered a glass.
The person I was with ordered the noctivagant and loved it.
The vibe was fantastic there were places to sit and chat outside, inside, and at the bar. It was fun to see all the groups of people gathered to have a good time.
We ended up getting two 4 packs of beer because it was so good!

Awesome local brewery with frequent local events. We tried a variety of beers with local ingredients and the live music was great. We really appreciated the subtle acceptance statement in the restrooms and pride flags above the bar. It makes a big difference knowing on our national park trips that we can find places that will not tolerate ignorance. Thank you!
