This place is an absolute GEM. I came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary and we were both very impressed with every part of our experience. The cocktail menu is unique and we both loved our drinks (both the alcoholic and mocktails). The entrees were absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. I had the salmon confit and my boyfriend had the steak frites! Our server was very friendly and attentive and they were kind enough to bring us complimentary champagne with our dessert order to celebrate our special day! I honestly can’t recommend it enough.

Great experience here! Very welcoming place. Had one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Ceviche as our appetizer, perfection. We had the Chicken Sandwich, and the Whole Grilled Fish. Both fantastic. Will be back for sure!

Wildcat is a fantastic edition to Hamden. The food is elevated but easy to find something for everyone (everything from whole grilled fish to ceviche to a burger/fried chicken sandwich option). Cocktails are all balanced and rather creative, and they separate them into shaken or stirred. My personal favorite was Strength of Ten, a stirred spirit forward cocktail. Our server answered all our questions diligently and was very attentive. Can’t wait to go back!!

Awesome new restaurant in Hamden and you won’t be disappointed. The happy hour drinks are unique and delicious, and even the regular menu drinks are all very different from other bars. They are a little pricier but well worth the money.
The apps are good sharable sizes for two, but small for 3 people so get more if that’s the case. The entrees are also sharable by two. The banh mi was delicious and well flavored. I loved the Asian inspired dishes!
Service and atmosphere was very cool. Parking can be a pain if traffic picks up so be aware, Whitney is a busy road.

This was my first time dining at The Wildcat. We were greeted by one of the owners who quickly accommodated our larger party despite being very busy. The inside decor replicates green rooms of historical American ballrooms and music venues. We had everything on the menu and not a single dish missed, all things I have never had before. A truly unique dining experience with a Manhattan feel without the attitude right in the center of Hamden. Our server David was amazing, beyond attentive, and super thorough in guiding us through the rather unique menu. His knowledge of craft and fine dining was apparent. The wine, spirit, and cocktail menu doesn’t really compare to anything else I’ve experienced in CT. Compliments to the entire team, especially the kitchen. The bar staff was efficiently shaking up state of the art garnished cocktails each round being more picture worthy than the last. I loved the confit mezcal cocktail, I can not recall the name. A beautiful seasonal food menu accompanied by beautiful decor, drinks, and staff. Thank you!

Drinks are fun, full of aroma, balanced. Foods are creative (in a good way). Can tell the owners put in lots of thoughts. Also happy that the menu changes from time to time so we have something new each time we stopped by. The decor is pretty. I guess the only thing that keeps us from visiting more is us living in dt New Haven which is about 15 mins drive

Unique SoHo vibe. Funky drinks and food menu. Prices are higher but in line with what they are serving. No TVs, low key house music. Definitely a relaxing atmosphere. This cool cat says, it’s a winner.

Not gonna lie, went here with a friend to have the iconic Alpine Arrows cocktail which used to be served at Tavern (it’s just as good as ever). The menu is similar to tavern, went for my usual burger which was good! It’s a beautifully designed restaurant!
