Fish: 5/5
For one, the Fish. This fish was the best seasoned fish I’ve ever had on this type of dish. It beats out every other restaurant in taste. I would absolutely love to know exactly what seasoning was on it, as this was an incredible job. The crust was crunchy, which is good, however it also wasn’t sturdy. The fish collapsed under its own weight when I picked up one end, which honestly is a matter of preference. I personally prefer to be able to hold one end and keep it together. 5/5 stars.
Fries: 3.5/5
The Fries were well seasoned and quite good. They weren’t particularly crispy, but they did good for the task at hand.
Other:
I tried a hush puppy for the first time tonight, and I wasn’t a fan, so I won’t rate it. I’m sure others would like it, as I’m considered quite picky by everyone I know. I also did not try the coleslaw.
Service:
The service here was fast. We were seated almost instantly and the waitresses were quick to refill our drinks. The added robots carrying around food was interesting, and kept the toddler with us distracted, which was nice.
Conclusion:
If I lived in Heber-Overgaard, I would come here every Friday for this dish. The fish wasn’t quite as sturdy and solid as I would have hoped, but it had to be the best tasting one. The fact that it’s only available on Fridays means that it must be freshly delivered that day, so I had no fear of experiencing a frozen fish. Well done. Would come back. 5/5 stars.
The robot was cool and fun to watch.
Food was good I had the Black and Blue Burger and my party had the Prime Rib. My burger was great (I like blue cheese) the chips weren’t and the coleslaw had peppers in it which I think is an acquired taste.
We ordered the Prime Rib with added horseradish sauce, which they made fresh for us, it was super good and cooked just as ordered.
Onion rings were tasty as was the baked potato.
Salads (the side salad and app) were nothing special.
Food was very tasty and portions were big.
