My son loved the wagyu and caramelized charred salmon sushi. My daughter enjoyed our unique, tasty, and flavorful lychee rainbow mocktail (stir it up before drinking) and tuna tataki. I enjoyed the ceviche carpaccio menu, desserts, and the caramelized salmon, too. The mango cheesecake is perfectly sweet with dices of mango! I wish I took more pics. There are dark brown red bean fried balls, not the sesame ones, and they had a super crispy but light shell…I tried to search the name online but must try unique dessert that’s hard to find, even online! Edamame was cooked al dente.
We wished we checked out this place sooner! It’s definitely on our list to come back as a family of 5, as well as a place to bring guests, too.
It looks like there are 2 bigger tables for parties up to 8 people. The rest can seat 4 with plenty of elbow room or 6 if smaller folks. The kids enjoyed the token for every 10 plates eaten. The tiny figurines aren’t smaller kid-friendly but fun to get.
There’s a happy hour between 3-6pm Mon-Fri, not holidays. Looks decent with $3 every plate on the belt and some $7-10 dishes, as well as some $4 drinks. We definitely will check their happy hour sometime.
I don’t drink alcohol, but I’m going to peer pressure my spouse to get the Ube Pina colada next time! Our pork katsu arrived on a spaceship. The 3 of us (2 youngs teens) ate 21 plates, ordered 2 menu dishes, and a mocktail for about $150 after tips.
Update: went back again and was not satisfied with the lack of roll variety on the belt for what we paid. The food was good but the same rolls kept coming through. In my last comment I mentioned that we went during Happy Hour. It seems like that was the same experience in the evening which in my opinion should be different since you pay a bit more. That’s a management issue, they tell them what goes out. Overall, I would probably go back for the experience, but I was a little bit disappointed. My guests from out of town were happy. It drops my stars to 3.
Unfortunately, today’s experience fell far short of the usual standard. After being seated, it took 10 minutes before anyone even stopped by to ask if we’d been helped. That server was wonderful, as always, but it then took our assigned server an additional 15 minutes just to acknowledge us. She never came by to refill drinks — another server had to step in. Now we’ve been waiting 15 minutes just for our check.
On top of that, I feel the restaurant could do more to ensure food areas remain clean and safe, especially when guests don’t control their children. Today, a child was repeatedly picking her nose, touching items on the conveyor belt, and even placing a dirty lid back on the shelf, where it got stuck. Plates also fell and jammed up because the child wasn’t following directions, yet the parent asked us the table behind her to fix the situation as if it wasn’t her child’s doing.
I’ve always loved this place, which is why today was so disappointing. I truly hope management can address both the service inconsistency and the food safety concerns, so the experience can return to the high standard regulars like me have come to appreciate.
Finally got our check, ate the 10 plates, did not receive the coin for eating the 10 plates. Seems small, but again, it is something we enjoy about this place.
Wanted to add that I reached out several times to the owner after their response, and even gave it 2 more chances. While I love the food, service was not better either time. Very sad to push this out of our rotation.
Finally, the staff here is super attentive and kind, which makes the experience all the better!
