Wild Ace in Greer is an awesome spot! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a really fun place to hang out. Everything was clean and well run, and the vibe was upbeat without feeling crowded or chaotic. Our server, Ashley M, was a superstar — attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.
Excellent food: our sandwich, pizza, and salad were great!
Definitely one of the better spots in Greer. We’ll be back for sure!

4 years ago I ate here and had the worst service I’ve ever had. My wife and I both left terrible reviews and vowed to never come back.

Well about 3 weeks ago we wanted pizza and our go-to pizza joint is closed on Sunday. After bouncing our options around my wife suggested maybe giving Wild Ace another shot. Not really thrilled about that but why not, maybe after 4 years it’s time to forgive and forget.

After being seated we ordered the frickles and a Meat Lovers (Whole 9 Yards). We’ve always loved the frickles, it’s fried pickles but instead of chips they do pickle spears. You can tell they are made from scratch and the spicy ranch they come with is legit. Pizza was outstanding, let me say the food here was always on point, but the service was sketchy at best.

So how was service after being away for 4 years? It was fantastic!! Taylor was our server and she was amazing. She took such great care of us and had a great attitude. I watched the whole restaurant and it seemed that all of the servers were taking great care of their tables. Very impressed with this visit so let’s try it again right.

Came back a week later on a Monday. Ordered the garlic cheese bread and a 14″ with pepperoni, bacon, mushroom and extra cheese. Once again the food was outstanding. The cheese bread is made fresh using their pizza dough and not just a sub bun like some places. This time Alyssa was our server and she was perfect. Just like Taylor she took exceptional care of us.

Hopefully this is a sign that this place has turned the service around. Food was never the problem. I don’t know if the server from 4 years ago still works here or not. I know her name and will watch out for her and we’ll see how this goes. For now Wild Ace is killing it with food and service and I really hope it stays that way.

I enjoyed one of the best French Dip sandwiches at Wild Ace Pizza & Pub. The roast beef was thinly sliced, juicy and delicious. Potion sizes were very generous & pricing was affordable. The restaurant had a fun aviation theme. It was nice to see so many people supporting this local business for lunch on a weekday. You know it’s good when the restaurant is packed. The server was attentive and very friendly.

Their calzones were delicious if you can stand the wait. And it’s a wait. If their wait time was accurate, spoiler it wasn’t, then you’ll be waiting 50 minutes on a promise of “35 minutes max”. Top that off with the cook time listed for the calzone of “up to 30 minutes” which took 25 minutes which is at least honest. If that sounds worth the wait, then more power to you. I won’t be returning.

I’m don’t normally enjoy bar food but I could drink the sauce off the jalapeno cheddar wings and the calzone was busting. Katie was super attentive and the new fall margarita hit the spot

My girlfriend and I arrived at around 7:45 maybe a little earlier, I didn’t realize I would need to track the timeline or I would have a better estimate. The hostess immediately greeted us and we asked to sit at the bar. When we sat at the bar, we waited roughly 5-6 minutes before someone greeted us(no big deal) the male bartender took our order and was friendly. I asked for a double beam and Diet Coke in a tall glass. It came in a short glass, again not a big deal but given the rest of the circumstances, it’s getting mentioned. He asked if we needed menus, and provided them pretty quickly. That was pretty much the end of the bar customer service. We waited about 10-ish minutes, maybe a little more before the female bartender asked if someone had taken our order. We ordered with her, a garlic bread appetizer and a medium pizza. Our appetizer arrived within about 7-8 minutes, from a different employee. Then about another 6-8 minutes later our pizza came. During that 13-15 minute timeframe, neither bartender acknowledged us. As a matter of fact we, never heard from the original male bartender the rest of the night. We ate our food, about another 10 minute period and still no acknowledgement from either bartender. At this point it was getting very noticeable by both of us that we were getting no service. That’s when I started to pay attention. Both bartenders passed us by multiple times without acknowledgment. So I started to take pictures of our empty glasses, during the next 10-15 minutes we noticed the female bartender eating her food and playing on her phone while her and the male bartender acknowledged other customers here and there, never looking in our direction. It got to the point to where as you’ll see that I took multiple pictures of her eating at different times, noted by the time the pictures were taken, as well as, taking pictures of my empty glasses (not once were we asked if we wanted a refill or another drink) and the camera that was facing our direction the entire time. If you take the time to review the cameras, you’ll notice me acknowledging them and drawing attention to the issue. Again, had I known the night was going to go this way, I would have documented more and sooner. Eventually the female bartender came over over and asked if we needed a box, after about 25-30-ish minutes of no acknowledgement. She brought the check, no pen, and that was it. Again, I’ll attach pictures and feel free to review the camera I took a picture of, to let me know if I’m mistaken or exaggerating. The shining light is the fact that the food was great. The service, tonight, despite not being busy, was lacking.

Perfectly cooked pizza. The Top Ace was very flavorful and the crust was excellent. I can’t remember having a crust simultaneously so light and robust. It had the right elasticity and chew. We’ll be back for more.

The atmosphere of this place is absolutely incredible. World war history. Of aviations and planes, the food can only be described as absolutely incredible. The flavors are so good. The portions are super generous. The staff is great. We even gotta meet the owner. Hands down the best place to go.Eat for a family. They’re a fully stocked bar and a fully functioning pizza restaurant. As well. Couple of the boys we had in the group had to buy t shirts. They thought it was so cool. We were all away from spokane washington. And we all agreed that the wild ace would have been worth the flight alone. Come hungry be happy

The wild ace burger is what I had so good, big, thick tomatoes on it. We also got the garlic parmesan wings and the boneless carolina gold wings, i’m still thinking about it.So good. I will post the menu items of what some of my guys ordered. Seriously wild ace for the win

We stopped here after a couple days of being in Greenville area for a hockey weekend. Friends of ours suggested this place and we stopped to eat before heading home. Food was okay nothing spectacular that stood out. I had one of the pizzas I felt like the toppings were not cooked maybe it was supposed to be that way but wasn’t 100% happy with it. The appetizers were good. I would definitely stop here again maybe try some other menu items next time.

We had a party of 7 right as the doors openned. The place is a pub food kind of place. Our waitress was very attentive. Our drinks were refilled repeatedly. Our order was taken in a timely manner. It did take a little while for the food to arrive. Everyone who ordered wings was very happy with their orders. A couple of guys ordered French dips and were happy with their orders. One of us ordered a turkey sandwich he also said his order was very good. All in all a very good experience with no complaints from anyone.
