I am obsessed with their pizza bagels! The pesto one with the thick cut tomatoes is absolutely delicious. I think about it all of the time. The bagels are soft yet structurally sound.

Finally tried out their new location after being a customer in Lexington for many years.
They make their bagels in house which you can actually see being done through the glass window…pretty cool! My go to is usually a sesame bagel extra toasted with plain cream cheese. Today my bagel was perfect, not burnt, but warm and crispy! I also grab a hazelnut iced coffee which is good–not overly sweet but hits the spot.
I was impressed by their outdoor patio and was sad more people weren’t using it, I’m sure it’ll get packed come summer. It was a nice quiet space tucked away from the city where I could actually hear birds singing and could feel a cool breeze which eating my warm bagel.
This one seems to offer more pastries and they also have a full meat counter serving Boars Head meat which is a cool addition. Plus…pizza bagels!!

Got a smoked salmon sandwich on a sesame bagel. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, tomato, and capers. It was HUGE. I could eat only half, and it was delicious. The bagel was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside, just the way I like it.
The brewed iced tea and the hot coffee were both really strong compared to the ones I purchase elsewhere. I am kind of wimpy when it comes to coffee and tea (think Dunkin or Panera strength), so I ended up having to add a lot of milk to be able to drink them. Needless to say, I was wired for the rest of the day!

The food here is phenomenal!!! Gotta give it a shot anytime in the area. These bagels are so perfect and the sandwiches are unique and delicious. Especially the smash burger special I tried one time. Service… they need some work. In one trip they messed up 3 things and I had to sort it out after and reorder stuff. And the next time they messed up again. They don’t seem to know the times on their own menus. The place has good seating though and is in a good area. Make it a place to stop at it’s worth it.

Every time I go here, they mess up one of my bagels. They have forgotten the capers on their salmon bagel, toasted/sliced a bagel incorrectly, and most recently forgotten a bagel in the bag. I wish I could take back the tip that was added when I paid, someone is not paying attention or the process isn’t working. I wish I could tell you that the French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese was delicious, but I wouldn’t know, I paid for it and never got to taste it.

Got an Asiago bagel with jalapeño CC, bacon and tomatoes. It was very good! Saw some bad reviews and was hesitant to come but they’re cleaned everything up and all looks great!

One of so many “bagel” places that apparently does not know the difference between a bread roll and a bagel. I don’t know what they are doing to cut costs (skipping 24 hr fermentation? Using regular bread flour? Maybe not even boiling?) but the result is that the bagels are just bread. Too much air, not dense and chewy. What’s the point?

I have been frequenting Wicked Bagel Watertown for the past 6 months. Let me just say upfront that giving them a 5-star review is already an understatement of how well they cook, serve, and maintain the restaurant.
Above all else, these days if I can ever find a place with good service and friendly staff, I look no further. The staff here at wicked bagel are wicked kind and friendly. I’ve gotten to know each and everyone of them and seeing them first thing in the day has been a highlight of my long work weeks!
The bagels here are made efficiently the day of but prestocked so you rarely have to wait. It’s amazing how they place all the bagel machines and conveyor belts right in front of you behind glasses so you can always see what’s going on behind the scenes.
The flavors of the bagels are on point and the sandwiches are generously filled with bacons/sausages/eggs/cream cheese or whatever you choose! The many sandwich options and the make your own option never had me yearning for anything beyond the menu. It’s also AMAZING that they sell dozen bagels after 1:00 or 2:00 pm. Their cream cheeses are also quality so can’t go wrong. My personal favorite is strawberry cream cheese on French toast bagels AND chive cream cheese on pumpernickel bagel double toasted.
Today I decided to post a review for the first time of the place after I tried their steak bomb sub. WHAT A BOMB!

I made an UberEats order that was unfortunately damaged by the delivery driver. I called Wicked Bagels and had the pleasure of speaking with Stephen, who went above and beyond in making sure my order was refunded and replaced. Stephen was deeply apologetic even when the delivery damage was not his, nor any of the Wicked Bagel staffs’, responsibility. On top of replacing my order, Stephen added a few extra desserts in as compensation for the inconvenience. Above all, Wicked Bagel has delicious food!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid bagel sandwich and an amazing selection of pastries 🙂 Shout out to Stephen and all of the other kind staff at Wicked Bagel for turning a crappy experience into a great one
