We stopped here for lunch! What an amazing couple running the show. If you are ever in the area, stop in! Its connected to the gas station and right off I75. The homemade barbecue sauce was so good, I went to the counter and asked to buy a big jar of it! Which they gladly sold. It was definitely wholesome food! My boy loved the chicken noodle soup and said we have to come back next time we go up north! As of writing this on 3/1/26 I heard there is going to ne a sale on their pasties! 2$ off! So get down there and give them a try! You wont be disappointed!

Awesome people making great food! Family operated, baking their own bread! Too good to describe by words, need to try!

Great small town vibe type of restaurant. Owner is extremely nice and easy to talk too. My food was delicious and fast.
The restaurant is in the same parking lot as the marathon station.
Very impressed that the owner tries to recycle ♻️ as much as possible.

This is actually FOOD. Not taken out of a can, or a box. FOOD. Like if Grandma started a restaurant, but she was a young man. We have been here on several occasions, and the quality is not just consistent, but consistently EXCELLENT. I honestly cant think of another place that serves healthier, higher quality food. He even makes his own condiments, so fresh theyre often still warm from cooking. This is a must try!

Definitely worth the stop! Exceptionally personable owner/chef, with an obvious commitment to providing an alternative to the typical fast food experience. I had delicious bean soup, with a side of tasty homemade bread. Nothing processed, just good food. Mmmm, I’ll stop by often as I travel to and from the U.P.! I encourage people to support this small family run business!

This truly wholesome place is a must-stop if you’re driving by on I-75! The food is delicious and generously portioned, and the family that runs this place is so warm and sweet — you can tell they put their whole hearts into this business. We love dining here and taking additional food to go whenever we’re in the area.

We stopped off here on a roadtrip, after seeing the 4.9 star review. And wow, i wish there was one in my hometown. The food was fast and delicious. Everything is homemade, you can tell they care about their food. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. Even the bread and barbecue sauce was homemade. The sandwich was delicious. And the coleslaw was stellar. I happen to be a coleslaw person, and this was maybe the best coleslaw I’ve had in my life. I did add a touch of salt and pepper to it(what can I say? I’m from the South) but overall sooooo delicious.
They also had single serving desserts:)

This place was an oasis during our latest travels! It beats fast food any day! Service was as good as the food. If we lived closer, I’d be here several times a week. Will be stopping again on our return trip for the sweet potato salad and coleslaw!

We had the pasties, but excellent selection of home style meals, plus homemade pizza and pasties. The pasties were great $9 each with gravy. Lots of rutabaga. Delightful gentleman at the counter provided great service. Plenty of quiet parking with nice view and okay to stay overnight. Trucker showers, full service truck stop next to restaurant. Great first stop for trolls on their way North.
