Mambo Italia exceeded my expectations! It was a beautiful day out, so they had all the doors open, which is such a nice touch rather than being stuffed inside some places that can feel like dungeons. Anyway the food was excellent. Pizza is phenomenal. (Highly recommend the pizza). The service was on point. Price is reasonable for what you’d pay in Sewickley. And the icing on the cake is that it byob! Love the byob spots, and they are few and far between. Only complaint is that they do charge a corking fee it’s $10 per bottle of wine and $1 per bottle of beer. All and all can’t wait to come back to Mambo for that perfect pizza .

I came here with co-workers last summer while working in the area around lunchtime and learned they’re only open for dinner service. So, many months later, even though I live in VA, but travel to the PGH area often for work, I was finally able to brave the crazy traffic to get across the bridge from Coraopolis into Sewickley and try them for dinner. Arriving solo and without a reservation, I felt kind of bad asking for a table for one, as they were really busy, but the manager moved a table and made it work for me and for that I’m grateful, because I was able to enjoy one of the BEST Italian meals in the area!

If there was an award for hospitality – Joe, at Mambo would take the cake (his spectacular Lemon Ricotta cake)! He was warm, inviting, and engaging throughout the entire experience – ensuring that each step was executed to perfection.

Absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere is of a genuine, mom-and-pop type restaurant. The food is exceptional. It’s easily one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever had, and I only wish I lived in the area.

Wow what a pleasant experience! I was blown away by this restaurant. Everyone was so nice. We got the linguine with clams and the chicken parm. Perfect way to celebrate the start of our marriage. FYI, this restaurant is BYOB. ♀️

Food was delicious. Service was good. Atmosphere was a vibe. Portion sizes could’ve been a bit bigger, but that is the only complaint. Definitely would come back to explore more of the menu.

Delicious food from start to finish! Attentive serving staff. Owner available at your table multiple times to check on your experience. No detail overlooked. Will definitely return. Appreciated the owners complimentary tiramisu! Just as the rest of the meal excellent.

Really nice place for some authentic Italian. Big menu with lots of variety. We got the chicken parm and a mushroom pasta dish. Both were good. Pasta and mozzarella both made in house daily. Only two minor complaints. 1. How loud the place gets. I think they could make very minor adjustments to improve the acoustics and dampen the noise. 2. The kitchen was backed up so we had to awkwardly stand up front for 15 minutes despite reservations and tables being clean and available. It would have been nice to sit and open a bottle of wine instead. Regardless, we will return to try the wood fired pizza! 4.5/5
