Had the pulled Pork Nachos, wife had the sandwich. The Pork was very delicious, extremely flavorful, but, I feel there should have been a few ounces more. The cheese sauce tasted like the cheap canned stuff. But for $11. Not too bad

The Whole Hog Platter is a decent deal that can fill up two people. It comes with baby back ribs that were tasty but on the drier side. The brisket was tender and juicy. The highlight of the meal has to be the creamy corn that melts in your mouth. The rest of the platter, which included burnt ends, beans, potato salad, coleslaw and dinner roll were average at best. I also noticed the staff looked visibly annoyed that I was ordering takeout 45 minutes before closing.

First time at this place and we really enjoyed the BBQ and all the sauces. Burnt ends and pulled pork was really amazing. Brisket was really thin and had texture of Gyro. Not really sure that the way its supposed to be. Potato salad was also great. Burnt end creamed corn was so so. It did not have any Burnt ends at all. Weird. The whole atmosphere was great and staff were great too.

This is a very delicious BBQ restaurant with daily specials. We enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich with two sides of beans and fries. The buns are soft and fresh, and the fries are home style. I would recommend.

The staff was friendly but food was on I had the 2 meat platter with brisket and pork loin. Brisket was sliced too thin in my opinion but had decent beef flavor. Pork loin was tender and paired decent with some of their sauces. Speaking of which, #I tasted like they put KC Masterpiece in a bottle, #2 tasted like the dumped Arby’s sauce in a bottle. #4 was nice, #5 didn’t have much flavor to me, and #6, the mustard sauce, was my favorite. My sides were baked beans which were pretty average and a burnt end cheesy corn. I didn’t get a lot of traditional burnt end flavor but did enjoy it. Not somewhere we’ll visit again as I feel like it is about on par with Rib Crib and the like.

Nice place and nice staff. Bought a Thanksgiving turkey and pound of brisket…cost $50+…the turkey was a normal size turkey you must still cook it for 3-4 hours, and it was nothing special, the brisket with the #1 sauce was good but again nothing special.

Sneaky 2.99% charge added to all “non-cash” orders. This charge isn’t declared upon checkout and no signage indicating the added fee for credit cards, at least not a noticeable one. The burnt ends and cheesy corn are fantastic but as a long term Springfield staple, they should know how customers respond to undeclared fees.

Great BBQ! This is another place we really like to go. The food is wonderful. It does not matter what you order. We normally get the pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. I always get the potato salad and cheesy corn with burnt ends. My wife gets the baked beans and potato salad. It is unusual if I leave without a pint of potato salad to go. It is always clean and the service is always good. They put the wrong sides on my wife’s plate the last visit. When I went up to the counter they were very busy. The guy running the register and taking orders looked up and asked “what can I help you with” when I told him what had happened he asked if she likes the sides that were on there. I said “yes she does but it is not what she ordered”. He then told me to keep the sides that were on there and he would bring the correct sides to our table when he got a second. I went back to the table and he was there in just about 2 minutes. We got some extra delicious sides for free. THANKS! We love all the sides. We were very happy.
