Had my first Whitt’s Frozen Custard and it was fantastic! The frozen lemon, berry custard with cheesecake bites and whipped cream was a delicious treat. The drive-through was quick and the service was great. Highly recommend checking them out!

This is my first time this season. I have been here many times in the past. There is usually no line or just a few cars. They have a walk-up window as well as a drive-thru. They also have a covered seating area (around 4 tables? Prices are average, but you do get a good portion for your price. The Gahanna Turtle in my go to. The staff was polite and made sure to give me napkins.

Best frozen treats in Central Ohio.
If they have Pistachio, we recommend trying it. It’s amazing!!

The best chocolate malt you will ever have, but only about 60% of the time. Really have no idea how to ensure that they make it correctly.

Update: the plastic spoon they gave me cut my lip. It really hurts.

Update: the stupid dirt cheap waffle cones they buy have the paper you have to unwrap, and SO MUCH GLUE stays on the cone. So disgusting.

I love Whits and have been a customer since they opened in Columbus area. But the quality has gone downhill. Whitser tonight wasn’t even mixed up… there were three whole Oreos in it. We’ve gotten scoops and quarts of custard with hardly any of the mix-ins in it. Prices have gone up everywhere including at Whits but not sure it’s worth the cost for what you get.

The ice cream was very creamy. Banana cream pie was delicious. The drive through line was really long. Service was just ok, pretty slow. We ordered slushes as well and found out afterwards the machine was broken. They gave us a refund.

Always the very best frozen treat available anywhere on the planet! There is no better anywhere. If you’ve never had a Whits you should seriously go there today and try it and you will feel the same about it as I do. It will change how you do ice cream- for real!

I’ve been a customer of the Gahanna Whit’s for a long time. Have always enjoyed their custard but haven’t been able to enjoy it as much because we’ve moved across town. We were in town tonight and stopped by. It was shortly before 9:00 (closing time) and we were eating our treats in the covered part of the patio. A young woman was placing an order at the window and a family walked up and was waiting. Right at 9:00, one of the employees opened up the “pick-up” window and asked if they were waiting to order. The lady replied that they hadn’t decided yet. The employee said nothing, closed the window, and flipped around the closed sign and then everyone inside proceeded to pretend that the family didn’t exist. That seems to be typical of service nowadays and it is disappointing to see it in this local business.
