This restaurant was a complete surprise. Passing thru we Googled for restaurants and Whitney’s came up. The restaurant is small maybe able to seat 35. The menu is diverse and should appeal to most anyone. I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. It was great. My wife had the shrimp and all in our party really enjoyed the mean. The service was very friendly and quick. The atmosphere is cozy and old looking making for a relaxing and wonderful dinning experience.

I an a resident of Augusta, Georgia and like others had the experience of indulging on one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The service is spot on, the environment is family friendly and the food is superb. Generous serving of everything. I even left my credit card there by mistake and returned the next day where I discovered the attendant had stored it in the cash register for me. You guys are phenomenal and I love your food/personal touch.

Great home cooked food and service. The waiter came to our table with a smile and took our orders. It took some time for our food to get ready although when the food arrived it was all freshly cooked. I had ordered my mushroom and swiss burger with chips but they were out. The waiter took the liberty to substitute french fries in place of them which I was more than happy to get instead of chips. The fries were good but the burger was phenomenal.

If you are in town for business and don’t want to find yourself sitting in a fast food joint, THIS is where you go in Barnwell city limits. Service is impeccable. The food is top notch. Quiet, cozy and beautiful atmosphere. Located directly off the circle, street parking or direct lot parking is available, walking distance from the city’s court house and governmental buildings.

Food was hot, amazing service, gave us plenty of food and several refills they have our full support an my family and I will be back. The lemonade was amazing perfect as a matter of fact. Having recently moved into the area, I am looking for great places to eat. Whitney’s is a hidden gem a block or so from the courthouse. I have dined here twice, ordering different meals each time. I LOVE THIS FOOD! The cajun chicken and shrimp pasta is literally the best cajun pasta of any kind I have had in years.

Ordered the Surf & Turf which comes with a tbone steak a baked potato steamed broccoli and a lobster tail and salad, also ordered 2 chicken tender baskets and another surf and turf without the steak. Did not get any drinks with it and it was 98 dollars. The steak was ok the brocolli had no flavor at all, the lobster tail was so dried out it was like chewing rubber also had no flavor, i was told the baked potato came with butter sour cream chives and cheese, my potato had nothing on it and it was crunchy! The salad also had no flavor and very little dressing. Would have expected this place to be better but this was our first time eating here and we dont see ourselves coming back for another try. Just wasn’t what was expected and that was alot of money for food that did not fill us up and was not good at all.
