Pretty cramped space but not terrible. What made it terrible was the service and the food. The service was awful. Wasn’t even acknowledged, unsure if it was free seating or not. This was my first time. I also missed the small cash only sign because of the placement and how cramped it was when I came in. Then when the person finally acknowledged me, “Are you placing a to go order?” Felt as if I wasn’t welcomed to stay.. waited a while for eggs, bacon, and toast.. had to grab cash out of their ATM (smart tactic, not mad at it).. then paid got my change and left a tip… just as a standard… I am certain I will not return. I know a lot of local people love it and I respect that. However, I have heard similar stories to mine.. I didn’t like the one bite of food I tried either..

I understand being busy, but service means a lot, how you treat people in service is important. If your food sucks at least serve it with a smile. 🙂

We just love the vibes of diners and always find their food amazing! The portions are huge, so the prices are justified. The staff were so nice, and our waitress was spunky, sassy, funny, and kind! I enjoyed watching the cook do his magic and whip out orders like the professional he was. Would highly recommend this diner!!

stopped at Whitey’s on my was to a business trip. I don’t like chain restaurants when I can eat at a hometown establishment. When we walked in there was one table open and when I asked what was good a man at the next table said everything. The decor was simple with advertisements for other restaurants on the wall. The breakfast food was out of this world. The bathroom is clean but only 7 ft2 in area. It added to the charm. If I am ever in Fremont again I will be eating at Whitey’s. One thing- they have an ATM at the restaurant but they only accept cash.

Had our 1st visit to this town favorite location. It was wonderful. Good prices and perfectly cooked everything. The bacon was local thick cut and seasoned great. Egg and sausage omelets were just like grandma used to cook. Home fries were a plate of love. The server left nothing to desire. We visit this area twice a year and now know what is for breakfast every trip!

I am in town for the weekend and came to Whities for breakfast. I was served the best burger and fries I have ever had. The hamburger and fries were freshly made. My dad’s omelet was giant and filling. Karra, our server, was excellent and attentive.

This has to be Fremont’s best kept secret cozy little diner close to the river with food beyond compare. My wife and I searched for breakfast in Fremont and this diner popped up with a 4.6 out of 5. We thought what the heck, let’s give it a try. While we reviewed the menu, we had a cup of excellent coffee, served by a very friendly and nice waitress, who kept our cups full of coffee throughout our meal! My wife order eggs and sausage and I ordered eggs and bacon. Both of us had rye toast and coffee, we split an order of home fries. The food took me back to my Grandparents farm breakfast. The diner had an old town feel and everyone was friendly, even the customers. We would drive out of our way to eat there and we plan on it in the next week or two, to try the lunch menu. The only bad thing about this diner, it’s not in Perrysburg.

Great local place for breakfast. I like the potatoes and the hand pressed sausages. Potatoes are perfectly cooked and taste even better with onions. I suggest a half order as a regular is huge. The sausage is one of the best sausage patties you will ever have. It’s a large patty and we often split it. The Your typical American breakfast. Coffee is ok. Small interior and hard to accommodate a large group.

This was our first time here. The breakfast was really good. My wife got there first and had to wait a bit, but it was worth it. This is our new breakfast place. The portions were very generous and the price reasonable. The food tasted great. The staff was nice and prompt. They were very busy, with folks standing and waiting to sit. Again, it is worth the wait.

Randomly stopped in while driving cross country. It was well worth the short detour off I-80 and I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area. If there is room at the counter I highly recommend grabbing a stool and chatting with the friendly staff and locals. Huge portions of tasty breakfast foods for a very reasonable price. Thanks to everyone for making me feel at home. Exactly what every roadside diner should be

What a cute little diner! We were on our way home and needed some food, and we came across this place.

First impressions. Decent parking in lot or street front. When you walk in, the diner is small but has decent seating. Our waiteress could have been nicer as she just threw things at us. Menus, silverware, etc. I understand that they
were busy. However, she could have been more personalble.

The food was decent. My husbands gravy to me looked ‘off’, but it tasted good. I was disappointed my eggs came on top of my corned beef. I really wish they would have put them on the side, but that is just my preference.

We didn’t use th restroom as this place is small and the restrooms I would have had to ask people to move so we could get into it ad they have a table sitting right in from of the door. I wasn’t about to h a e people move. Over all. Not bad.
