As a quintessential diner, Whitehall is the very best in the Lehigh Valley. From the decor, the wait staff, to the food, no diner does as much as this one. The capacious accommodations are contemporary, well-maintained, and varied menu for just about any guest, from one to many, young to senior, omnivore to vegetarian. There is ample evidence of management done right. The crew are attentive, friendly toward each other as well as guests. Food choices include standards as well as seasonal favorites like peach pancakes in August. Every dish we tried for breakfast has been tasty, well-seasoned, and generous. Eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. Lots of little extras like a plate of sliced ripe summer tomatoes as an alternate to hash browns at no extra charge.

First time here…I was traveling for business and was by myself. I found the place was clean, both inside and outside the parking lot and busy during dinner time… I had one if the specials – roasted chicken with walnut pesto was very good the service wasn’t very good… It was interesting to see the interaction with other tables and how quickly their food got to them before me, and I was told that the kitchen was backed up…. The tip reflected the attitude and lack of serving me.

I had a perfectly serviceable omelet, homemade jelly was a nice touch. The strawberry pie is a miss, cold berries on top a fragment of stale pie crust. Baklava looked better. Service on a Wednesday evening was great.

Classic diner experience. Good service, big menu, breakfast all day options. Ambiance is nice. Very friendly feel. Food was tasty. Chili was very good! Really impressive fruit cup and muffin was enormous! Definitely recommend and will definitely return when I drive through the area.

This diner is great. Breakfast for 2 people was only $18! The food tastes good too! This is a diner that tastes like good food without trying to steal your wallet! We might have a new favorite place to go if return trips are just as good.
