The food and service was awesome. So happy to have a great restaurant in the neighborhood. The meatloaf was flavorful, mac and cheese was filled with cheesy goodness, and the carrot cake was amazing. The staff were super sweet and I will definitely come back with friends and family. Hoping for the lodging to re-open so more family can stay local when driving in from the city.

This place was an awesome surprise. My family has been coming to this area since I was a kid and I’m always looking for good upscale dining options. The food here is excellent. The drinks are excellent they have a large cocktail list and huge martini list, you can’t go wrong. We started with the pulled pork appetizer which is some of the best I’ve had anywhere. For dinner we had the duck with bacon jam highly recommended and the swordfish special. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone I’m sure my family will be coming in soon

I have had a home in the area for the last 13 years. I went during the last ownership and was deeply disappointed. I haven’t been back since. When I heard The White Pine Inn had opened under new ownership I wanted to give them a try. I was really hoping it would be good since I love so close. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely nice. We started with the skillet meatballs and lobster ravioli. Then we had the Mediterranean pasta and I personally had the duck. The duck was crispy and delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

Love the vibe, decor, and food of this restaurant under new management. We ordered the special fish, salmon, and steak dishes and all were amazing. They added great twists to classics like old fashioned. The music was a mix of classics and new…loved the playlist that the owner curated. I’ll be back for weekend dinners and celebrations!

Great wallpaper! Our anniversary Dinner was a little confusing for everyone involved and we were the only ones there so lacking ambiance on a Friday night. Lol thankfully we didn’t really mind and we’ll give it another try maybe w the kiddos but wanted to share our super strange experience:
Not sure what the deal was w the kitchen vs the staff and we seemed to be one of only about 5 groups there but hours later we got great bread and a whipped honey butter (amazing), ok stuffed mushrooms (portioned a little skimpy at 3 tiny shrooms), and ok lamb chops (no seasoning), short ribs cooked to perfection but sadly covered in an ill tasting unnecessary “Madeira” gravy.

This is one of those places that’s only a 15 minute ride from home but still kinda out of the way so you forget it’s there. Well we tried it tonight and we definitely won’t forget it again. The decor is a little dated but in a cool mountain vacation home kinda way. The food, however, is outstanding. We had the stuffed mushrooms app, the meatloaf entree as well as the shrimp and grits. All were well sized and excellent! The little one had a Mac and cheese that was really good (to the point both mom and dad stole bites). On top of great food and prices they have a nice bar with a decent wine selection. The service was also great as well as friendly. Looking forward to our next meal here!

It is worth the trip! The menu is so varied and the chef is truly talented! For our appetizer, the steamers were just the way we like them and the warm rolls with cinnamon butter were yummy. My husband had the lamb and I had the Bison meatloaf and both were superb. We will be going back in the near future!

Always excited to try a new restaurant and the White Pine didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was quaint. The menu is created for those who are looking for a fine dining experience. We enjoyed everything from the cocktails to the desert. They have a nice bar area the was void of customers. As word gets around, I am sure this will be a hopping place. My only recommendation is having a casual bar menu for those who just want to have a bit of pub grub.
