This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. Glad to find a new lunch place close to work. I had the Italian sub and chips for less than $10. It was very tasty, fresh and warm. I’ll be back.

I don’t know what happened with this place, but the customer service and the quality of the food went down lately. When you order something and you specify how you want it (well done, light sauce) you come pick it up and it’s a ton (regular amount) sauce, and saggy, but the answer was “we do what we do how we do it”, I’m 100% sure someone needs to be trained on how to handle customers especially if what’s in the order is not how you prepared and cooked the food. After many years of business with this restaurant, we are done. We like deep dish Chicago style pizza, but we like the minimum amount of respect and owning your mistake and not blame it on the customer. Hope this helps the owner to take some actions on training their folks on customer service and hope the food quality increased as well.

I’ve had the pleasure of having both their subs and pizza and the experience was well worth the drive. The sauce on the pizza with the thin crust was bursting with a savoriness that balances the flavors together perfectly.
The oven roasted sub had the ideal ratio of meat to bread, and the crusty top with the soft interior made every bite a sound of tasty joy.
The prices are ideal and they make sure to give you ample no matter if you’re ordering a full meal or a lunch special.
Their menu is robust, and I can assure you Memphis known for its hidden gems has another member in East of Chicago Pizza.

Stopped by for lunch and got a medium deep dish pepperoni. It was incredible. The sauce is amazing and so is the crust. Everything tasted very fresh. Friendly service. Will definitely be going here for lunch more often.

I had the Crispy Chicago Melt Pizza. I bit off a little more than I could chew in one sitting with a Medium just for me. Still, it was hearty and fulfilling. The most enjoyable part of the food was that it was warm and wholesome, and I don’t recall the taste distinctly.

Wow! First time coming in, but definitely not my last! I had the all meat pan pizza and it was amazing. The toppings were fantastic and the crust was perfect. It was done quickly. I will definitely be back!
Update… I did indeed go back for the Chicago Style Meat Pizza and was not disappointed. It was amazing! The quality meats and cheese nestled between the perfect crust and the robust sauce come together for an amazing flavor. Going back for a sub on the next trip!

Ordered the Chicago deep dish and its really good. But like others I was expecting a thicker crust but that will not keep from going back for more.
1/30/24 Not sure what has happened but that is not a real chicago deep dish. Crust is thin, sauce isnt like it was, and you have to pay for any toppings. Just skip the deep dish and you should be fine.

The customer service was trash . The pizza I order used to be real good and the toppings covered the pizza dough. Now it is get them in and out quickly.

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! As a current Ohio resident and enjoyer of the “East of Chicago” brand I can’t in good conscience sit back and not address that this particular establishment is WEST of Chicago. My faith is shaken to its core, my disappointment is immeasurable…That aside, the food here is fantastic.
