Great little place near Beach Lake, PA. My family and I drove over from Masthope PA based on a recommendation from someone in the area. Small little place but the food and service was excellent. We ordered a couple of different appetizers to sample and loved them all. Dinner was just as good. Wife had the Ribeye Steak which she said was very tasty and I had the filet mignon sandwich whixh was tender and tasty. Dinner looked so good I forgot to take some photos. We will be back again for sure!

First time ever stopping in here for dinner since its a little out of the way of my normal territory, and I left absolutely furious……that I haven’t gone sooner!! This steak was the best I’ve had in a good long while, and the sides were great too. Combined with a nice, cold, Busch Heavy draft after a long day, I should apologize to anyone who may have overheard inappropriate sounds coming from my direction, because it really was that good lol I cant wait to go back for more!

Went for dinner.. food and portions were very good and cooked great.. waitress was very nice and as soon as we were done with anything the waitress was right on taking it away.. left my credit card and called off hours in the morning and they called me back couple hours before opening and have it in the register for me to pick up.. staff that we met yesterday and spoke with today are very nice. Very relaxed atmosphere and again food was very good. Definitely go again.

We had a delicious – and massive – dinner on a Saturday night. We went early, but the dining room was already full. We had a reservation, fortunately. The front of the menu proclaims that the restaurant is “in the middle of nowhere,” which is true (BTW, I’m originally from there too, just up the road a bit from nowhere – no offense taken!). I had the prime rib, available only on weekends, and it was outstanding. Even the small (ahem, “queen size”) portion was huge, and perfectly fork-tender. Everything else was delicious too. I remember the old smoky White Owl from 40 years ago, but this is a proper steakhouse now with excellent cuisine. Reservations recommended!

So this goes to the owner so your aware and I waited a while to think seriously on the matter. This past October 20th which was my birthday not that holds much weight in this but me and my wife went to the restaurant for each other’s respective birthdays for the past 3 to 4 years a sort of treat and pleasant atmosphere. The experience that we had with one of your waitresses was absolutely awful. She ignored my wife when she asked about recommendations for food and drink combinations due to a sensitive stomach issue. Throughout the night she barely checked on us and had her face glued to her phone. I had to ask a couple other servers to get her attention more than once just for basic things like drink refills and when I asked for some bread for me and my wife she acted like it was an annoyance and when she returned with the bread it was only 2 pieces not a full basket like its supposed to be while also just droppingit onto the table. This waitress also severely insulted my wife and me repeatedly in a mix of words and actions. I’ve been severely disappointed and let down. To the owner of the restaurant this happened on this past date October 20th between a rough estimate of 4:30pm and 6:30pm in the sit down part of the restaurant not the bar area. For the reference of looking into the matter. As a result of mine and my wife’s experience that day will be the last time me and my wife come to the restaurant. I hope everything goes well but I had to leave the review about the experience

We came out here with a few friends last weekend and the food was great!! I had a special of scallops and shrimp in a lemongrass ginger broth with house made noodles. The flavor was fantastic and everyone was very happy with their meals. My only complaint was the service at the bar. We waited about 10-15 minutes before anyone came over to us. We watched as the bartender served the “locals” over us. The bartender was great about remembering all 4 drinks once she finally came over.

Came here on a Sunday at 3pm without a reservation and it was not crowded at all. Good, bc our daughter was loud. Anyway the food was pretty great for the middle of nowhere. I got the schnitzel at this steakhouse. Which was a mistake. The schnitzel was great, don’t get me wrong (with excellent potato pancakes and fried egg on top too). But my dad let me try his perfectly cooked medium rare ribeye. I I realized that I messed up. French onion soup was really flavorful too.

Very good food and selection. Sit round the bar with large screen TVs or in the dining room. We attended on a Friday evening round 7pm and had a 15 minute wait for a table, but well worth it! Best to book in advance. It is indeed located in the middle of nowhere on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware river. I had the halibut which was a generous portion cooked to perfection, she had the bowl of fish, clams, shrimp etc, which she pronounced excellant. And the prices were very reasonable. There is also a list of meat dishes and from what I viewed some eating, the portions are also generous. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Narrowsburg area. Plenty of free parking round the exterior of the restaurant.
