We always prefer a local business over a chain and this was truly a little gem. Great food, quiet atmosphere, homemade breads, wonderful service. If we lived closer, I’d eat here regularly!

First time trying. For this small town, it was an excellent experience . The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cute yet not what I expected. It seems like it was a house turned into a “fancy” restaurant. The prices were more than we expected based on the “cover” of the place. (Diner meets New York prices). The fried haddock seemed kinda small, but other than that, the soup and bread bar was great, the crab stuffed mushrooms were very very good. The maple salmon was tasty, and the desserts looked amazing. We tried the lemon merengue, yum!

Very nice little place with your typical American type foods with their own little twist. Food tasted great, and was well prepared. Cozy and quiet. Only downside i noticed is that out of the three states we drove through and ate in, this was about 20 bucks more to eat at then anyplace else we ate at. Including a steakhouse and upscale pizza place.

Small restaurant filled with friendly local people. Everybody knew everybody. I liked all the old family pictures. The young lady who waited on us was very friendly. We wasn’t sure on the dinner menu, so she gave us a lunch menu, with better prices too. The food came quick. The BBQ bacon cheddar chicken wrap was delicious. The pickles was so fresh and crunchy. The inside had an old charm, and was very clean. I would come again if I lived close.

One of the best dinners we have ever had. The soup, bread, and house salad were all incredible. The portions are generous, the food flavorful, and everything was cooked perfectly.

We ordered takeout. The food was great on some items and a bit overcooked on others. When I picked the food up, I had to ask for utinsels and bread that was suppose to come with the meal. I would definitely go again, but maybe for eat in instead of take out.

We had their French onion soup, a typical house salad and their Chesapeake chicken, which was chicken topped with crab. My wife had chicken which was topped with Parmesan cheese and artichokes and also cole slaw. She said it was a bit sweet but good.
Our chicken dishes were cooked perfectly and we enjoyed our meal and the service. (it did take a bit to get seated because of how popular the restaurant is, but not any more than some chain restaurants.) Reservations are recommended, but we did not know that coming into it.
