That’s my favorite!
The best corn fritters and some of the best chicken anywhere. The Cole slaw and other sides are good, too. The nostalgic old Coke machines and being able to watch the staff prepare the food is great.

Fabulous chicken – great coleslaw. Even the mashed potatoes and gravy were unique. A 4-Piece dinner was $8.50. The chicken pieces weren’t particularly big but they had a lovely crispy outside and we’re perfectly cooked. It definitely looks like a dive but has great food

Been a fan of White Fence Farm restaurant for over 30 years. Great fried chicken, fritters, potatoes (mashed & fried), and Cole slaw. Can freeze fries and fritters. Then reheat in oven. Go to Romeoville less frequently in recent years. But can pick-up at carryout stores like this one in Downers Grove.

This place is dirty and smells of mold. I wanted to get chicken today. Stood in front of the lady at the counter for almost 5 minutes with no acknowledgement whatsoever. She was taking a phone order. The place was empty when I walked in the line was 5 deep when I walked out. $9 for half of a small over cooked chicken is no good. This place has gone way down hill. Been a costumer for over 20 years, not anymore.

I go out of my way to come to this location whenever I’m traveling through the Chicago area. I especially enjoyed the corn fritters and their coleslaw, made with a vinegar base. I have been eating at White Fence Farm for over fifty years and I don’t miss it when I have an opportunity to stop for an excellent meal!

Simple less battered fried chicken compared to other chicken place. Chicken are always freshly made along with little corn fritters that I can’t help myself to dig in the bag the moment I get into my car. This place is small and for pick up only no tables to dine in. They also open for 4 hours during the weekday closed on Monday but as a note the restaurant closes at 8 pm. Aside from chicken they have also offered beer battered fried cod fish and fried shrimp, mashed potatoes and fries. You can order for catering but you need to call the restaurant ahead if you’re ordering 50 pcs or more . They don’t do delivery no curbside pick up and no drive thru.

LOVE the chicken and sides here. The bean salad is the best! My only reason for a 4 star rating is that they need to get with the times! Please consider working with a company for delivery. It is very inconvenient when you need 100 pieces of chicken for a party. This requires driving to the location, waiting, and driving home, missing about 45 mins of a party from where we are (if it only takes 15 mins for chicken). I’ll pay the fee, but I just need someone reliable to deliver!
